-How old are you?: I am 16 years old.

-Time-Zone/Country of Residence: I live in Australia, my time zone is UTC +10.

-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I like to think I've got a fairly decent grip on English.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I love creative things. I'm pretty much always smiling, and if something is not fun or entertaining, I will try and make it fun and entertaining.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Anything between half an hour daily, to several hours straight. My timetable isn't very consistent.

-How long have you played minecraft?: I've been playing Minecraft since it was first available to play. Then I stopped for a bit, came back around Alpha 1.0 or thereabouts.

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: I know that RP can be one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences imaginable, but I also know that it can also be the worst, depending on how committed people are to it. I've done a little bit of D&D over the last three years or so, usually as a DM.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: I enjoy a well told story. I'm hoping that this server will allow me to write the story, much like DM'ing, but with more reliable PC's. Of course, I'm not expecting to be in the DM position; that would be silly. I'm expecting to be able to be in the story.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've played on several, but rarely for an extended period of time, because of the lack of any real reason to stay. I've made a few houses here and there, most recently on the beta map of Nations At War, before it released. In fact, I would have played more on that server, but I went into hospital with a collapsed lung and missed out on the release day, and there wasn't really much point in my trying to catch up.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: I have read the rules, and I understand and, more importantly, agree completely. The only one I'm worried about is the "No Innapropirate Usernames"; I made my account a long time ago, before SMP was even thought of. I don't particularly want to spend more money on a more RP friendly name, when it's the player behind the name that counts. Of course, I understand something like XxXL33TSniPerXxX would be completely out of the question, and pants-on-head-retarded, but where's the cutoff point?

As for the lore, I'm a little confused. The picture on the Minecraftforum.net thread OP is missing, but the article on the wiki was rather good. I'm not sure wether you want a synopsis or a summary, but it set the scene quite well.

-Name the 4 races on this server. The four races are: Human, Dwarf, Elf and Orc.

-How did you hear about us?: At first, I heard about you from Reckreations promo video. I had a look, but I mustn't have had much time, because I never did follow through and apply. But now, here I am, after remembering about this server.

-Did you vote?: Yes, I did.

-What was your favourite Law?: This is a little vague. I'm assuming you mean which server rule I liked the most. In which case, I really cannot say; all the rules are pretty much nessecary for a good RP experience, and if you were to take any one rule away, it would ruin it. But, since you asked, and I'm supposed to answer, I'll say the rule which states you must use a server character skin.

-What was your least favourite Law?: While there may be no one clear best rule, there are a few which seem a little redundant. For example, "You must keep in character", and "You must play in character, as this is an RP server" both say exactly the same thing. But, I'm going to have to go with the "No Innapropriate Usernames" rule, purely because of my username.

-Character Name: Althar.

-What is your Race?: I am a human.

-Lordofthecraft.net/forum forum account: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=7671 is my profile.

-Biography: Althar is a simple son of an independant farmer, who moved to Al'Khazar at his fathers request. What Althars father expected him to do there wasn't clear to him, but there he went. After spending a dozen Passings in the great city, Althar was jumped by robbers, who took everything he owned. Since then, Althar had decided to leave Al'Khazar, somehow.

-Character Age: 18

-Character Appearance: Tall, skinny peasant boy. Brown, medium length hair, usually hanging around his face.

-Character Personality: Surprisingly cynical for his age, Althar won't take flak from anyone. He is proud and honest.

-Your ambitions: Althar's only amibition is to create a home for himself -- maybe to serve his country, should the opportunity arise.

-Can your character read or write?: Althar can read and write, as his father taught him at a very young age.

-Can your character mine?: Working on the farm, there was a bit of mining to be done. Not much, but enough for Althar to know which end of a pickaxe is which.

-Are you a capable builder? There were always repairs needed on the farm. Althar had to learn how to fix a leaky roof, unless he wanted to sleep in the rain.

-Can you wield a sword?: Althar could wield a sword only if the need were very great. His father taught him a few basic skills -- which end is which, for instance -- but that was all.

-Enjoy Farming?: As Althar grew up on a farm, there isn't much else that he knows. So, yes, Althar enjoys farming.

-Does your character have any special skills?: Althar has no special abilities, unless you count the unique talent of being robbed.
