In the name of the Wayward Druid, I announce the first official "Druid Moot".

List of Invitees:

All druids of Guide or above

High Prince Native

Many druids have been reporting dreams coming to them... And every druid has been speaking of very similar dreams. This has lead Respiren the Heirophant to call a Moot to discuss these dreams.

"Aspects of the Divine. Nature in avatar form. They walked across the surface of Aegis, and found it wanting for care. The Aspects scoured the land for those they would deem worthy enough for the purpose, and found souls that had bound themselves to Nature.

Cerridwen; Great mother and representation of inspiration, nurturing, transformation, and rebirth. She looked down upon these souls while they slumbered. The lights of these souls shone brightly with purity, and she knew they were the ones.

Cernunnos; Horned god, master of the hunt, god of Nature and fertility, and consort to Cerridwen. He stood by his Goddess, and was pleased with the dedication these souls showed to the protection, and guidance, of Nature. It was in this happiness that he gave his agreement they were worthy.

They came to know these souls as Druids, and would forever more consider them the children of Nature.

Together they appeared in each Druid's dreams calling them, and making them aware, of the Great Aspects.

They sought to connect the Druids to each other so that they may be more firmly joined in the bosom of Nature, and gain from the Great Mother's love.

They sought to bring the Druids closer to the strength they would need to defend their lands, to determination and balance, and to the courage and wisdom their new children would need in the future. Thus they were brought closer to the Consort. The Horned God.

In each dream the Druids were brought to a sacred, and beautiful grove, to meet with the Aspects. Cerridwen, always garbed in simple, yet elegant, robes, sat primly on the great root of an Elder Tree. Cernunnos, found with spear in hand, and a great crown made of stag's antlers atop his head, stood to Cerridwen's right. Their expressions were calm, yet filled with wisdom, love, and understanding for the child that stood before them.

No words were exchanged. No movements were made. Only the deep studying expression the Aspects held, and bore, into the souls of each Druid..."

This is the dream shared by the Druids. Exactly what it means is not clear now, but will soon be determined...

OOC: This will be a forum Moot for the sake of time. It is truly just for invited druids. This is the introduction for the fleshed out belief system of the druids, mainly created by our Lorekeeper, Maiavel.

Yes, this is the dream I've had as of late. I find this to be a sign, and an affirmation of all our suspicions, that there are guiding hands behind the beauty of Nature.

They are calling to us, and I vote that we recognize them, officially, as our Divine Aspects, and patron deities of our Order.

Indeed, sister. I, too, wish to recognize them as our deities, and our parents as well. In my dream, I will mention, it was not clear whether they are truely two separate livign beings, merely different sides of Nature, or something else. What have ye other druids experienced?

Shall we perhaps make a clear list of those invited to the Moot? I would think that is essentially the Guides and Above and then Native officially invited.

Aye that is the case Petyr. None below the rank of Druid Guide are allowed into the Moot without permission.

So these Aspects are recognized as patron dieties of the Druids and all others who acknowledge the beauty of Nature. But exactly what changes would you say we are to make? What is our course of action?

Obviously they're pleased with our purpose, and work, thus far. I see no reason to change much. Perhaps adding one sacred area to each place the Druids choose to reside, as a show of affection? I know several of us already do this, but it never hurts to make it a normal practice.

An example would be a protected, and blessed, area of a grove, or home, that none may touch. Or we could transform a single location into one large blessed area dedicated to these aspects.

I cannot think of much else beyond continuing our already established practices.

I have thought of another "trial" based on our dreams that may fit well when promoting druids to guides. We can discuss that later.

I suppose if there is anything drastic that Nature would ask of it, we shall dream it later.
