Definitions

 

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act creating a character and then playing with the mindset of said character

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using the games mechanics that would not work irl i.e knowing someones name just by looking at them.

What is powergaming?: Power gaming is when you know the game like the back hand and gives an advantage to him/her. Its not necessarily unfair because anyone can do it... its more like an advantage

 

In-Character Information

Character’s name:  Yulgok

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Darf

Character’s age: ripe young age of 86

Biography: Yulgok has been living in a mine owned by his father for all his life, his father wants him to follow in his and all his ancestors footsteps and become a mineral miner and sell to the small trading village near the surface of there mine, but Yulgok has been convincing his father to leave the mines, see a world no one knows about, eat good food, make new friends and have an adventure of a lifetime. Yulgok has been recently been studying the fighting techniques of the Kharajyr from ancient books that he traded at the town above with some leftover ore, after he'd done reading the books he would weave the pages into endless necklaces that he would give to his father, there was one necklace his father wore at all time, it was made from golden pages and was always shiny even after the longest days mining.

 

Though he had wanted to forget about his dreams of going above these books made his imagination run wild, he thought of fresh fruit or the touch of a woman's lips, all of these wild things that he never thought were possible would finally become true, reading books was one thing but actually doing things made his spine shiver with anticipation... but it still... day after day, working in the mine, getting ore scraps trading for books and then doing the same old thing again and again and again, until one day Yulgok awoke to the sound of an explosion, there was a methan bubble that had burst and kill half the men working in the mine, he searched and searched for his father but all he found was a necklace, no longer shiny. With this he decided to leave the mine and find a new life outside of the mine.

 

Personality Traits: Yulgok does not feel cocky or take the responsibility of a leader in high pressure situations, he doesn't think very highly of himself

Ambitions: Yulgok wants to make new friends and learn about other cultures, he is curious to meet one of the Kharajyr as he is fascinated in there race

Strengths/Talents: Yulgock can stay calm in high pressure situations, even though he doesn't like to take control.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He doesn't speak his mind at the right times and can usually get himself in trouble

Appearance: around 4'.5 tall and weighs about 170 pounds
