What is roleplaying?: The act of playing playing the role of and acting as a character would rather than yourself. 

What is metagaming?: Using information outside of your characters life to use them as guidance.   

What is powergaming?: The act of any character doing something they realistically be unable to do. 

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Jamie was born and grew up in the realm of Vailor as the firstborn son of a modest middle-class family known as the Gibbs family. His family includes his mother Amanda Gibbs, his father James Gibbs, his younger brother Ian Gibbs, and his four pet dogs Sparky, Link, Nova, and Diesel. No-one in his family had ever done anything great. He decided at a young age he was going to change that, so he took up inventing and began to study very hard learning about things ranging from the beginning when God created Aegis and the first people to ever live to the more modern day events, while in his spare time inventing, writing songs, and designing more crazy and colorful outfits to wear as he has a love for colorful things and had a friend who was an exquisite tailor. He eventually learned all he could from studying which wasn't much as he already knew quite a bit of knowledge beforehand and had wanted more, but didn't know how he was to get it.

 

  He had almost given up hope on learning more when a wandering trader came along selling his wares and that's when inspiration struct Jamie. He realized that travelling would let him learn more, so at the age of twenty he told his family he love them and bid them farewell as he left taking his entire wardrobe, his designs for his inventions, his lyric sheets, and his guitar.

Personality Traits: Jamie is kind, caring, helpful, creative, resourceful, extremely clever,  somewhat forgetful,  eccentric,  and a bit insane.

Ambitions: He aspires to be a great inventor who travels and helps those in need, while confusing them with his inventions, knowledge, way of speaking, crazy antics, and his huge and extremely odd wardrobe of clothing that has things ranging from oddly made coats to odd forms of spectacles, shoes, and hats just because he likes being confusing. 

Strengths/Talents: Jamie is a great musician, knowledgeable, great with a with a sword, but prefers oddly to fight with a spoon, creativity, resourcefulness, inventiveness, having ideas that are just crazy enough they might work, and clothing design.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Bow-fighting, and being forgetful.  

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He has brown hair, bright blue eyes, weighs 150 pounds, is 5 foot 4 inches tall, and it varies on what he wheres(his current outfit is a brown coat with a long ascot, black pants, and brown boots).
