What is roleplaying?: Acting as a certain Character with accordance with the perceived expectations of society with the regard to a person's behavior in a particular context. 

What is metagaming?: Way of playing the game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game.

What is powergaming?: Playing a game with maximizing progress towards a specific goal, to an exclusion of other considerations.

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Esimer

Character’s race: Elf

Character’s age: 25

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

       Esimer life began in a small home of with a family of four. His Father and strong man skilled with the blade, His mother who stayed at home, Esimer's Brother Alester, and Himself.

Esimer mostly spent his time at home reading and observing the life around him. His father tried to teach him how to fight, his father had a strict thought about protection in his family.

Esimer simply was not interested in physical fighting and would remain reading books. As he got older his brother unfortunately died in an innocent during a theft.

 At the time Esimer was at the young age of only 12 years. His brother had be slaughtered by the thieve and escaped with many of their possessions. From this Esimer took some time in learning

how to fight but only enough to protect himself and his family.

 

After years passing and self study Esimer went off to start a life away from home and hope to learn about magic so he can use it to good use in the lands. He doesn't much of the knowledge about outside his home. For he spent most of it inside but at times went out for the fresh air. He plans to find a teach of magic on his travels and to live out life away and extend his family else where. His family was not completely poor nor wealthy, so he had the decent clothes and proper living materials. At this point only choices and the choices of other effect his future. ( I was unsure how to write the ending)

 

Personality Traits: Social, Protective of his friends and himself.

Ambitions: Learn the art of magic.

Strengths/Talents: Esimer is fast learning and observant. (unsure what you want)

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Tends to stick his nose in things at times clumsy. (Again unsure what you want)
