The great congregation of Khalestine

Posters around town with the sultans seal have been put up around town telling of a great event that will happen in the coming months reading:

 

"Recent events have lead to a great divide in our great country. There have been burnings of pig and liqour both on the town square and at the brigde. This have lead to some disturbed citizens wondering if maybe religious zealotism is going to take over in our great country. Some citizens have been taunting the burnings of the pigs meaning that this is a waste of food and a waste of liqour. Some citizens have expressed  joy for this project claiming it is the true mission of allah.

 

Some people have looked at the great amount of new people in the city. Some have rejoiced in diversity. Some have looked dismayed.

 

In our great government our sultana has in his grace by Allah decided that there shall be an end to such foolish selfdestruction and we insted should try building on each others strenghts with the decree:

"On the next saint day we shall by the eleventh hour meet in the masjid. Not for prayer but for talk. Talk of worries great and small that may bother us and may pull us further apart instead of closer together. Leading the talk shall be our court Imam Faiz Ibn Qhuhafah whom even though he recently arrived at the city already have had a large impact. 

 

Our talks will be open for everyone. Human as Uruk as elf as dwarf shall all be welcome the only requirement beign that they live in Khalestine or have a trade that involves the country.

For a safer city where we all can live in peace and safety with each other - Sultan Arlen "
