QUESTION ABOUT SHOPS-TOURIST SHOPS

because of the new MAP feature could there be shops where they sell maps and stuff to help toursists(or new players) find their way around certain areas? adventurers could make some money taking a map with them when they explore and the they sell it to the map shop or whatever and then they sell the maps... maybe you could get a feature to name the maps?

The texture pack does not have a texture for maps at the moment.

EDIT: They have released a new update which has the textures for maps, grass, etc

Is it just an actual map of the landscape? Or do you fill it in yourself?

Well Yes, and you need to walk around the land to map it onto the map. But It helps you get around!

This is a really good idea. I was thinking of selling maps at my stall. But unless I mass produce them, the cost of the iron it takes to make a map will greatly increase the price.
