What is roleplaying?: Acting out or performing as a imagined character, in ways they might act or go through a scene.

What is metagaming?: using knowledge that a character wouldn't normally know in the lore of the setting, or due to thier limitations within the rp. usually used to get an advantage one shouldn't have normally.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: a power gamer uses " god like " powers to get an advantage over others, usually to the exclusion of plot or in-lore limitations.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 19 or 20

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Born in 1528, sometime around the Iron Uzg's slaying of The Ivae'Fenn , Alaizia was found and raised by a caravan on humans when she was only an infant, She was found in a field swaddled in dark blue cloths, nothing else with her other then a butterfly clip on the cloth. Growing up she never really had much interaction with her race, but learned quite a few of the traditions from the communal upbringing of her adoptive Family. She was quite inquisitive from a young age, reading whatever material that came to the cavalcade as they traveled through the land and listening with wide eyed wonder at the stories of the more elderly humans. She heard tales of human heroes to inspire the little one, the vicious orcs of the War Uzg or even fables of witches who lured children away if they stayed up to long on cold winter nights to scare her into go to bed in time.

These stories would prove to be a driving force of instilling a slight sense of idealism and superstition in the young lady, aswell as a yearning to learn more about the world and record her own stories and truths about the things in it. Growing up among humans has had certain effects on this young halfling's views of the worlds, She has never had compunctions towards worshiping the pumpkin king, or Tatter lord, though she does have knowledge of them. Eventually with heavy heart, She would bid farewell to her loved ones and strike out on her own path, hoping to make her way in life as a traveling scholar.

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Bookish, easy to fluster, very curious and enjoys learning new information about the world. Believes in Tarrot readings and ghost stories. Book smart, but not very street smart and naive. Albino(physical trait). Raised among humans, by proxy is somewhat clueless about her own race's culture.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) A well learned and renowned Scholar and traveler.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Very book smart, at least from what she has studied so far. near Eidetic memory.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) naive, a little superstitious. physically weak due to statue and build. suburns easily.(( albino) slight problem with her eye sight.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)

Alaizia is only 3'4, albino with platinum blonde hair and ice blue eyes. She is a bit chubby with large bust and full appearence(( for a gnome or halfling atleast..so not so big for average races)). expressive, guileless facial features and usually sporting small spectacles due to problems with her eyesight

  the skin is still a work in progress, but I think it likes kind of nice...the hair isn't long enough though.

Your application is good but I just need you to make one adjustment before I can accept it. Please do not make a new thread, simply edit this one with the following adjustment:

 

• You may not be a gnome but you may be a halfling.
• Please make your character bio a minimum of two paragraphs in length and be sure that it includes three pieces from lore.
