What’s your Minecraft account name?: Lord_Gronor

How old are you?: 18

What timezone are you in?: US, EST

Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes I am

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes I do

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: The ban on metagaming. Because this is in fact a video game and not real life, it's not difficult at all to learn of information that your ingame character should never have known (since this is a medieval roleplay, they certainly didn't have telephones to alert a friend of problems)

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): Building and construction - Since I've never been on a Minecraft RP server like this, I don't know if we're able to harvest resources, etc and build our own (unobtrusive) building or campsite in the wilderness. Also, what of taxes for buildings not in city? I'm also unsure of how "rolls" work. I presume they're with one or more dice, in which case they'd be fairly self explanitory for things like the lockpicking, but combat also sounds like it's dice roll based. Also, how do the dice rolls work?

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I've gotten bored of late and was interested in hoping into one of the roleplay servers I've heard a lot about, and a quick Google search brought me to your server

Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): None

Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): Yes I have.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you assume the role of a character - including their looks, personality, history, and relations - and treat them as if they were yourself. Quite literally, you are playing their role in the world.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you use information that you should not have access to, and abusing it in order to gain an advantage.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is where you become a "god" whilst roleplaying, and perhaps despite being an unskilled farmer, you still fight as if you were an invincible soldier, doing tasks that should be impossible. Put simply, it's where you pretend to be infinitely stronger than you should be.

Name - Grongar Silvas

Sex - Male

Race - Elf; Wood Elf

Age - 57

Biography - Born in the year 1521 he was raised by his parents who lived in fear that the move to Vailor would result in anarchy. As a result, they chose to reside as far away from civilization as possible, living in a small cabin far east of Larelin, close to the coastline. His father was able to hunt most of the food required for his family to survive, but there still was a need for regular trips to civilized territory for various supplies. Ironically, their decision to live in seclusion worked against them; in the year 1526 when the plague blew across the lands, his father contracted it during one of the supply runs, bringing it home to his family. By divine blessing or sheer luck, Grongar didn't contract the illness, but both his father and mother fell ill. Neither was healthy enough to make the journey back to the town to try for medicine, and it was up to themselves to survive. His mother's dedication to the craft of medicines proved enough to make an herbal concoction that allowed his father (who was already holding up better) to survive, but this medicine only effective in helping to lessen the pain of death for his mother. His father now had to do the job of two parents, but unfortunately the plague left his body permanently weakened. He passed on his skills with a bow to his son, in the hopes that should he perish that Grongar would have as great a chance of possible to survive. In 1537, during a winter hunting trip, his father sprained his ankle and fell from a tree into the snow below. By the time Grongar realized that his father hadn't yet returned home, he had already frozen to death.

Saddened by the loss, but knowing nothing but the wilderness, Grongar chose to just continue the life he'd always lived by continuing away from civilization. Since he already was adept at hunting for survival, he chose the life of a wanderer, in the hopes that the things discovered would help him find his place in the world. Once he was able to cross the river west of Larelin, he saw some of the most beautiful lakes he'd ever seen before, and knew that this was the life he should lead. A life not limited by the whims of others, but by his personal strength and his pursuit of freedom.

Personality - Very direct and to the point in conversation; loves to see new things and beautiful sites; despises the destruction of natural wonders, whether through warfare or development; refuses to drink any form of alcohol, since he prefers to keep hits wits about him; enjoys cooking

Ambitions - Wants to explore all of the lands of Vailor, and perhaps someday find a boat to one of the other islands he's heard rumors about. At least at the moment, he's more than content to lead a solo life away from cities.

Strengths - Extremely accurate with a bow and adept with smaller blades; good at slinking around and acrobatics due to his smallish stature and lean build; navigation and sense of direction whilst in the wilderness;

Weaknesses - Extremely fatigued by carrying excess weight, whether from too many supplies or from heavy armor; can incite anger in people in conversation since he is so direct; easily confused by the hustle and bustle of cities; untypical for an elf, his medicinal skills are subpar due to his mother dying at a young age.

Appearance - 5'6" and a lean build; brown-red hair; has a scar on his chest from a wolf attack when he was young, and a scar on his left arm from a sword wielding mistake; heavy calluses on his right hand from his bow

I'll admit that it's not an amazing skin. It's the first one I've made, but it fits the description set for woodelfs well enough, I think...
