_Bueno_ 492 Share Posted June 21, 2018 The Belvitz Church Act of 1669 By order of the City of Belvitz there is to be the creation of a new position in council. Due to absence of any immediate bishop to shepherd the flock of Belvitz and the surrounding diocese the City has decided to appoint a direct administrator. The Diocesan Vicar is to administer and manage the diocese of Belvitz autonomously and efficiently, working in coordination with the City and Church to shepherd the lost flock of Belvitz. He is to be appointed by the Belvitz City Government on recommendation of the local clergy. I. The position of Diocesan Vicar is officially created as the administrator of the diocese. II. The Diocesan Vicar is to train novices and raise them to the diaconate. III. The Vicar is required to be appointed from amongst the frocked clergy of Belvitz. IV. The Vicar is to recommend deacons to the position of priest. V. The Vicar is to maintain an active and vigilant role in the city. VI. There will be a tithe paid to the Diocese of Belvitz from the city coffers every Maer election in order to pay the clergy and hold church events. VII. All city property allocated to church business is hereby governed by the Diocesan Vicar; this includes the Cathedral of Saint Emma, it’s adjacent priory and the Chapel of Saint Otto.
