Office of the Registry 2323 Share Posted April 21, 2020 LISTS FOR THE HOUSE OF COMMONS As per the Edict of Reform of 1763, His Imperial Majesty’s Imperial Diet has been restructured to form the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The House of Commons, being also referred to as the Lower House, comprises fifteen seats. These seats will be split between the two factions: the Everardines and the Josephites. Seats will be allocated each election cycle according to the percentages of the national vote gained by each faction. Each faction shall submit a list of fifteen candidates in a draft pick to the Undersecretary of Civil Affairs agreed upon and submitted by their leadership by an appropriate deadline, which shall be at most two months before scheduled national elections. These lists should be ranked by hierarchy in the faction. Those members of the draft who are assigned to a seat in the House of Commons will be considered a member of the House of Commons until the next election cycle, where they will either retain their seat or be replaced. An example draft in proper formatting: 1. John Brown 2. John Green 3. John Black 4. John White 5. John Blue 6. John Yellow 7. John Red 8. John Orange 9. John Purple 10. John Grey 11. John Gold 12. John Silver 13. John Copper 14. John Pink 15. John Coal As per the Edict of Reform of 1763: “Should a seat be vacated for any reason before a term has expired [...] then that seat shall go to the next eligible person on the list of that vacated member’s faction.” If this places a faction below fifteen members in their draft, the leader of the faction is encouraged to provide the Undersecretary of Civil Affairs with an updated draft containing new appointments. If a party is unable to reach the maximum of fifteen candidates, they shall mark the space as VACANT. All new appointments are expected to be valid candidates for election. The Undersecretary of Civil Affairs is tasked with keeping orderly, current, and public documentation of all changes in the faction draft to the best of their ability. The following is to be a public record of the draft for each faction, posted and maintained by the Undersecretary of Civil Affairs.
