osumanduas 1442 Share Posted September 13, 2020 RESOLUTION OF 1785 10th of Tobias’s Bounty, 1785 On 10th of Tobias’s Bounty, 1785 the House of Electors gathered in Myre Hall to deliberate over the succession of His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Peter III. Presiding: Count Richard Victor, Rochefort. In attendance: The Governor-General Duke Henry Frederick, Cathalon, Viscount Frederick Ermingard, Pruvia-Albarosa. Voting in absentia: The Prince-Archbishop, Cardinal Albarosa, Count Oisin O’Rourke, Halstaig, Viscount Riordain MacDrough-Armas, Rillsworth. MOTION OF THE CHAMBER That in lieu of electing a new Kaedreni Monarch, that the House move to dissolve itself and invest itself in H.I.M, Empress Anne Augusta, as a direct constituency of the Empire. ALL IN FAVOUR; The Duke of Cathalon, AYE The Prince-Archbishop of Albarosa, AYE The Count of Rochefort, AYE The Count of Halstaig, AYE The Viscount of Albarosa, AYE The Viscount of Rillsworth, AYE ALL OPPOSED; CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY WE DO AFFIRM, the supremacy of the Imperial Crown in the affairs of the Commonwealth and call for a new and stable principle of Responsible Government in the administration of it’s comprised constituency. The resolution of the chamber is a critical consideration, as while the present situation is allowed to progress the continued constituents of the Commonwealth receive in practice no right to the enjoyment of life, no liberty to control their own affairs, and an increasingly limited opportunity for the development of institution and industry. The valley of Cathalon is commonly known as a bounty of natural resource for which there is no greater source; yet with the absence of substantiated representation it’s promise is allowed only a place to perish with St. Catherine it’s tombstone. It is only then as direct citizens of the Empire, that we men and women subsist. Thus we entreat here to Her Imperial Majesty as unflinching Imperial subjects; that the Crown appoint a Viceroy to empower a regional legislature with increased authority to govern local affairs. That the Crown’s chosen Viceroy be responsible together with an assembly of his common man for the purpose of articulating a new constitution to serve for the function of a reformed Commonwealth, and that this leal Viceroy therefore work in conjunction with that local government to, in good time and in good conscience, be ultimately held accountable to said legislature. Signed, Governor-General Henry Frederick Helvets, Duke of Cathalon Lord-Magnate Richard Victor Helvets, Count of Rochefort H.E Cardinal Albarosa Prince-Archbishop of Albarosa The Right Hon. Hephaestus 1326 Share Posted September 13, 2020 Vittorio Falcone bobbed his head nonchalantly in review of the constitution, offering but a moment of his time before the nature of it grew weary and boring upon himself. ”May the Lord grant this new age for Kaedrin many long years, and allow for it to grow and prosper, as the rose it holds sigil.”
