[A page of writing was left in Craotor's inn accidentally. It is written in green and black ink. It says:]

I have been studying the asinine place called the nether recently. I have found out a few things about it, but not many. I doubt they'll be of much help in the future, though.

Anyways, I sent two spirits out to the nether recently. One was of chaos and one was of darkness. They scouted out some interesting things of which I have not seen before.

The Chaos spirit found an odd creature made of yellow, firey rods and smoke. It was very bright and shot fire. I wonder what the firey rods could do. I'm not sure what to call them.

The chaos spirit also found another being, which looked like a slime of our world, only pure red. It looked useless, but I wonder what would happen if I put a slimeball on fire.

The spirit of darknessed, deterred by the brightness of the creatures, instead explored ruins. In a patch of nether-sand, it found an odd type of purple mushroom in the nether. It looked odd and weird. Unedible, too. I wonder if it has any affects whatsoever.

The darkness spirit also found an odd cube that seemed to create the the first monster the chaos spirit found. It quickly retreated, hating the light it gave off.

Well, that is what I have found. I will look into this more.

I have attained some of the asinine nether sand from an orc. I got 30 pounds of the thing, and have started to test around with it. I tried cultivating it with a hoe, and nothing happened. I tried infusing my stuff into it, nothing happened. I have managed to grow mushrooms on it, but they're just mushrooms, not the strange purple ones from the nether.

I wonder how I'll do this.

But...uh, be aware. Asinine means "foolish". I don't think the Nether is "foolish". Can a realm be foolish? No idea.
