What you’ve done has not gone unnoticed.

 

We’ve been blessed

With land beneath our feet

While we hunt and gather

Searching for something to eat.

 

Something to eat, we have found

Plucked from trees

And harvested from the ground.

 

The one that has blessed us has granted us this food

We continued to eat and take

But offered no gratitude in return.

So we continued to feast

Till our stomachs grew full

Fat and overencumbered

We had become dull.

 

The one that has blessed us has seen our greed

As we’ve continued

To bite the hand that feeds.
 

 

You have chosen your fate, denizen of Almaris. Now you pay the price for your greed.

Yet its true owner laid slumbering in its depths. Now, you cower in fear as their wrath slowly comes over Almaris.
