Hello again audience today I come before you asking for your help. If you have not already read the basis of my Ideas you may do so Here

I shall begin by stating current news.

Last Edited (dd/mm/yy): 10/13/11 12:52pm (gmt-7)

- Silas is scouting out locations for his get-rich plans

- A builder for the many things we shall require has been Hired if you have any suggestions for things we should have him plan out I would love to hear them.

- I have contacted Golden_Richards and he is willing to provide ongoing 'mentoring'

This means that the organization will follow a similar model to his

-Added another question

--------------------------------------

Now that we have that out of the way I will need the following from you creative fellows

-Where the first mill should be set up (got two locations in mind but I'm open to suggestions)

  • Either to the south in the wilds near the druid's tree in Ravenhold (as such druids would get first crack at us and could make the issue widely known since I KNOW druids get around)
  • Up north near Al'khazar (not in the damn snow bad things happen up there)
  • If we are in the south we will attempt to harvest the druid's willow tree (only out of retaliation so that non-villain app holders may participate [may try to call in the black hand to create chaos here they could attack our mill and attack the druid tree both sides think they are right in this one]) however if we are in the north expect the first MAJOR target we try to set our eyes on to be Charlie4vb's forests (the very pretty one Wildewyn Woods Link).

Either way the mill shall be established in the wilds so traditional kingdom (KEY WORD HERE KINGDOM)laws will not apply (ie since it is the wilds we are allowed to log in that area) and the major events will not happen without some Monarch's support (ie burning of the elves tree will not happen unless King Enor, Algrim, or one of the orc Dominus' would support us [or we convince the entire elvish princedom to stay out of it] since it is on elvish land and the druids would have sway) (The gathering of that large forest WILL NOT happen until Enor gives us logging rights). Either way these big events would be faaarrr off. Personally I am in favor of the Northern Mill simply because it could relieve us of the stress of a possible elvish human war (throw in the whole industrialists vs naturalists and we got problems knowing who is on which side).

-The second thing I will require from you brave folks is names for the various ranks in the guild I have one suggested by Golden_Richards

  • Blackpaw Enforcers

I would like names for 6 ranks 3 Criminal and 3 Legal (Since we will attempt to encourage common banditry)

(similar to Richards 3 ranks: member, officer, The officer of Officers)

-Third I would like ideas for events you would love to see happen (if I get some basic villains you can expect a lot more old women holding bags surrounded by corpses in aegis)

report any misspellings/typo's via PM please and thank you.

Well where ever in Aegis you put your first mill, I assure you the Druids will not be far behind..... with weapons. ^^

maybe wood patrolers for the bandit side I don't know its late. But it could work cause they might want to pretend what their doing is justified or something. Again its late so this probaly isnt the greatest name.

As of now I am not. I probably will not accept members until I make all my little secret deals with secret little people (in about a week, after I am sure the company will have things to do and I have set up guidelines to make sure the guild does not become grand theft grief IV). Do note that even though Silas is a lumberjack this is a trading Co. so expect to have a hand in everything (mining, excavation, lumber-jacking etc.) we are just starting with a mill since it would make sense roleplay wise for Silas to go with what he knows. (plus the areas I have in mind are infested with trees.)

I have a few give me opinions on these ones

Engineer (non criminal?)

Negotiator (criminal boss?)

Be warned of two things if you attack the Druids:

I have an army of flying squid... and worse.

I will give each and every one of you fungi in your undergarments.... forever.

Happy logging!

Big words from such a small fellow, we will have to see if they hold any value. If they do have value...expect to be shortchanged. ((I'll get around to insulting sharp ears up there later when I can think of something insulting to respond with))

As for building help I will accept it however I plan to actually pay the builder his sum (for the first buildings anyways then we can just copy the design) since this will put us in a need for profits which will keep us busy.

What to take from this is that I'll PM you and anybody else who wants in when we start construction so you can look at the basic schematics of the place since I am no builder.

oddly enough this has given me the idea of a "caravan" event when we got the money to afford to do this. (once we all paid off and making profits we can announce when we are shipping OOCly so we can get some robin hood esque ambushes going on against us)

Well I have a little experience but I am more of a builder who builds for practicality not design (see Celestine's moat for an example). So PM me and I will be more than happy to help! However I am really busy until around Saturday, just saying.

Alright decided to set up in the south construction will begin when I can get a hold of Sin' recruitment will begin possibly this weekend here is the demo of the guild recruit page need feedback especially on simple work

Simple Work

-----------------

Gatherer- The gatherer’s job is to gather all kinds of materials for us. From Orcish sand, Elven Lumber, and Dwarven Ores the gatherers gather it all for the sake of profit! (basic rank)

Adventurer – The adventurer’s job is to slay monsters and bring in his findings. 1/10th of his findings should be turned in to the company. In exchange he will be given room and board if the earnings are excessive then the adventurer shall be entitled to rewards such as free equipment meals and the like. (Will also be responsible for boosting PR by defending the good people during undead attacks)

Engineer– (builder) (must be able to make cranes, machines (saws for the lumber mill), and make natural areas look ravaged) The engineer will be responsible for not only operating any machinery we employ but also constructing anything else required for our work. (Think you can make Laurelin look like it was logged recklessly for a quick buck?)

Enforcer Work

Seeking experts in the criminal field to ensure protection of assets. (roleplay version of "I need criminals")

The following is OOC aka none of this “OMGZ ITS BLEKPAW KILLZ HIM HE BAD!”

Highwayman – Your job is to make the streets UN-SAFE you will rob people of their minas and goods resorting to violence if things get hairy. You will also rob houses and strip them of valuables.

-Very basic rank think of it as role playing training (recruit)

Bruiser – The bruiser’s job is to ensure that clients who have paid for “Protection” get it. If need be you will resolve any little “Problems” we have with competition. (Competing shops that disagree with us you will burn smash and destroy if necessary ((this may include entire towns.) Any mercenary work that we are paid for you will perform.

((advanced highwayman you are “THE” roleplayers of the guild you will be treated like grunts but you can think of yourself one step above the rest))

Negotiator – The negotiator’s job is one of politics. Whether it is between guilds, kingdoms, or persons your job is to make deals that benefit us through ANY means necessary (blackmail, bribes, extortion, violence). As the negotiator you will also be in command of the Bruisers and Highwaymen. (Officer rank) (Only available through promotion.)

(Dealing with is including but not limited to

-Exclusivity contracts only WE get to work in that area

-Price fixing (Tac & Co are charging 10 minas for iron ore!? Have a little chat with them don’t forget to take a couple Bruiser’s with you.

(sorry mates but you gotta plan it out ahead of time with leader of T&C no MINDLESS griefing)

[basically helping plan the roleplay events/ general overseeing]

)

I'll have to create rules (a contract roleplay wise perhaps?), punishments and whatnot will also need ideas for the ranks still.

I originally had 12 jobs (thank god I did away with most of em) but I was able to reduce it to 3 each I still think I should do away with most of the simple work jobs and make officer ranks but who knows.
