Papa Rock 2400 Share Posted July 7, 2024 THE IRON ASSEMBLY KHRON’NOZKRON The Iron Assembly is the popular assembly of the Khazadmar people, a political forum for all opinions to be voiced to the Grand King, the chosen leader of the Khazadmar. It is modeled after its direct predecessor, the King’s Court. At these meetings, royal decrees and laws will be presented for approval. Any dwarf may present a petition, informing the government of specific grievances and permitting the spread of new ideas for the betterment of the realm. ROYAL DECREES & LAWS At the start of any Iron Assembly, the Grand King will present his yearly decrees to the khazadmar nation and any laws he wishes to promulgate, to be collectively approved by the Iron Assembly by a verbal shout. PETITIONS Once the King has spoken his piece, all Khazadmar will be invited to present petitions before the Grand King. Once queued in an orderly line, the Grand King will call upon each petitioner in turn, ensuring all get an audience with the crown. Grievances, ideas and ongoing feuds may be raised during this audience. THE GRAND KING’S PEACE The King’s Peace is the principle that shall govern relations within Khazadmar Society: no dwarf shall resolve disputes through violence but instead is encouraged to do so through the arbitration of the Grand King.
