LOCATION OF INTEREST: Grand Island Mine and Grand Island Mining Town.

OBJECTIVES: 

• Investigate the Grand Island Mine and the nearby mining town
• Clear the area of any enemies of the Kingdom
• Secure salvageable ores and resources

 

MISSION OVERVIEW: 

 

BA. 127

 

A scouting party made contact with the Grand Island to assess the ruins of the mining town. Miners were found dead, presumably killed. The locations of the mine and storehouse were located. Task forces were sent to secure the sites of the mining town and the storehouse with each task force consisting of [REDACTED] soldiers.

 

 

BA. 128

 

The scouting party managed to locate the storehouse. A hostile encounter with an insectoid beast transpired in the holding cell; the enemy was dispatched without losses. A lockbox was uncovered and the password was secured. A decision to establish an outpost was taken.

 

 

BA. 129

 

The lockbox was successfully opened, containing [REDACTED]. In addition the group tasked with constructing the outpost was attacked by the insectoid beasts. A scouting party managed to fend them off. A single soldier was lost in battle, the decision to organize an offensive force was taken after evidence of [REDACTED] was found.

 

 

BA. 130

 

An order was given to clear the infested mines of the hostile insectoid beasts. A combat team of [REDACTED] regiment soldiers alongside the prince of Monterosa was sent to complete this task. The force successfully cleared the mines without losses eliminating [REDACTED], securing the open mineral veins which yielded a total of 5128 Daemonsteel ingots.
