In the aftermath of my father’s Edict of Radiant Pursuit, I had found myself granted the honor of witnessing the magecraft of the many wizards in our realm. Many had evoked fiery spectacle, some had twisted the winds to their preference, even a pebble had risen before my eyes to confront me with its presence. However, she who had impressed the most was a mage who not only provided her philosophy and knowledge, but also acted with haste to the protection of the High Kingdom. Her intuition of wrong-doing and plots threatening the stability of magehood come from an experienced mind, yet one still hungering to learn. It is because of her courageous effort that I would seek to appoint, under my father’s shared approval, the archmage known as Vivien Aen Tarem as the High Wizard of Idunia.

May it be that we see much come from this fruitful partnership and that the arcane arts are one which may be carefully studied and hereafter continued to be explored within the High Kingdom’s walls. Too, shall we embrace the tradition of our mages donning pointy hats and wizardly robes, a facet which has been of high importance to my father in these times. Glory to Idunia!
