Once again, the thieves' struck in the dead of night, some places would find a red handprint left on certain parts of their houses, doors broken open near the empire specifically, but the amount of doors seemed to be more than any two petty thieves could do in a few hours.. Had they grown? Gotten more ill minded people to join them on their scandalous endeavors? Only time will tell.. Especially.. Hadrian.

Lady Valentine had struck again and this time in force.. not even the empires fortified and raised walls were enough to keep these thieves out.
Count your days Hadrian.. not even your walls could keep me out. - Lady Valentine

A brave dwarf in blackened plate armor counts through his newly ill-gotten goods. But he seems rather dissatisfied. Nothing seems to compare over breaking into that castle under the lack of cover with allies. He recounts the events of that day. Sneaking past blind guards, and hiding in the shrubbery of the imperial royal gardens. The sun casted down its light upon the blackened shine of his armor. Catching the reflection before finally moving forth. There he stood in that wretched glittering throne room as a mere petitioner. Crimson ornate carpet with flakes of gold along its edges before being crested with blackened stone. Hadrian I’s throne that had stood as a pinnacle over all others. Where all the eyes of Azuras stared upon the man who now held the lands in his bloodstained hands. The son of Horen who ordered the death of his many dwarven brothers through the waging of war and turmoil. Urguan crumbles in its ruins, a dying beacon of dwarven achievement as he slowly climbs the steps to that throne. With a turn, he faces the gilded Cross of Lorraine across the room before lowering down upon the throne. The dwarf’s face twists into one of disgust. “Tis shoite eh uncomfortable!” The dwarf comments in regards to the throne. “Na’e wonder de laddie eh a piece o’ shoite!” Finally he stands with a stretch before sketching a hastily written post for Hadrian to see. ‘Dwarf was here’ it had said. “We ne’ t’leave so na’e imperial coward foinds us!” The dwarf smiles in the forest with that great feat. To see Hadrian's angry fit would be a sight to enjoy.

"... oh wow," The Emperor stared up at his throne, gasping; a fishing rod lay slanted on his shoulder, and in his other hand, he carried a bucket full of worms. "A dwarf was here." Hadrian squinted at the words, reading them slowly with his singular eye.

"I wonder if they sat on my throne. Surely not?" He turned, rambling to himself; knights saluted as he walked, noblemen-and-women offered their deepest courtesies, and eventually, he found himself on a rowing boat.

"No, surely not," The Imperator of Azuras concluded to himself, and started to row towards the fast-moving river. As the boat started to drift off itself, Hadrian withdrew a small wrapped package from his pocket; it was a tuna and cucumber sandwich. He took a bite, chewing slowly. A small book was removed from beneath his jacket, and he flicked the pages open -- now, he ate a sandwich, and read a book.

Bliss.

Their presence had been felt throughout the Empire, with doors left jammed and ajar.

Twas a quiet night in Azuras, when all through the town,
Not an imperial was stirring, not even the crown.
Flags were hung by the empire with care,
In hopes that their lives would indeed be spared.
Nobles were nestled, snug in their beds,
Visions of riches filling their heads.
When from inside the palace, there arose such a clatter
If one were to awaken, they'd see a
small musin on the scatter.
Accompanied by friends, with visions so grand,
Their evil deeds across the land.

Luck of the draw, the result of an outcome which would be left to rely on chance. That is what this was, that's what it will always be.

Blooma would be travelling across Azuras, praying to the Aspects that her sister is safe and away from trouble....even though she has a slightly feeling that trouble will find its way to her.
