obviously none of this would work at all. just because you’d have to start all the lore from scratch to make it work and the premise inherently desires chaos and random people getting crazy power which would get pretty disgusting really quickly. but let this inspire your m’arts and c’arts. happy april fools!!!

basis	a bunch of unique artefacts that give whoever links to it a special unique power and can only be taken and used by someone else when the linked person dies
anyone who has one would have potential to become uniquely powerful. with a skill ceiling of like a raid boss likely very simple but versatile powers. equated more to magical mutations than some sort of divine service ability or arcane technique the same one is supposed to be used differently per user depending on what the user wants out of it require an application for someone to link to one, to keep track of them PK clause is absolutely necessary. the age of the character will be tracked so they can be pk’d when they run out of a lifespan. and they will pk if they are killed  note officially if or when the character is shelved on the app to prevent death if you're going inactive for a while dont abuse that  probably have like 25 of them. and give each of them a number for the vibes why not involve progression! each progression stage you get a new ability so you’ll have very few but they’ll be broad or deep make them incompatible with a bunch of magics  more busted with more risk instead of average or weak with no risk you need it on hand to use it if destroyed they respawn somewhere random

things you could do  with them	generally most of these things are just the natural conclusions of what could happen. i don’t need to tell you these things for them to occur
scatter them across the map for anyone to find host events with them as rewards black market trade a culture built around passing one or two down through the generations put bounties on them steal them inspire masses give as crazy royal gifts fight aengudaemons  conquer nations protect nations rebel against nations hide them because the power is too great theatrical status symbol other such nonsense and tomfoolery

the overall purpose	is to elevate an individual to greater heights in a way that really shakes things up. the world has no main characters but what if anyone could become one for a little bit suddenly. wouldn't that be neat
