Faith is not defined by how grand a temple you have, nor is it defined by the volume of its followers. Faith is only defined by the strength of each follower's belief, and the souls who choose to put their faith in the Brathmordakin are among the strongest I have ever seen.

Dark days fall upon not only the dwarven race, but our very way of life, a way of life given to us by the Creator Yemekar and the Brathmordakin. It is this Age of Gravel that many of us take to travel, walking Armakaks roads both high and low, enduring Belkas fearsome waves, and traversing Grimdugans eternal darkness. As times change, so too must we as a group. Da Kirkja Dverga is not just a temple; it is a path we choose to follow in pursuit of enlightenment, and it is in these dark days that a new path is shown to us, a new way of life.

THE WAY OF THE WANDERER
ᛞᚨ ᛊᛁᚱᚲ ᛖᚱᛟᚾ ᛞᚨ ᚲᛟᚱᚺᛖᛚᛟᚾ

Henceforth, Da Kirkja Dverga and its members shall follow this new path to ensure the continued existence of our faith. This new path goes beyond the confines of a single temple; members of Da Kirkja Dverga shall traverse the world and to the holds of the dwarves, passing on their guidance, teachings, and knowledge.

High Preceptor:

The High Preceptor shall continue to oversee all current and future activities regarding the Brathmordakin faith, with assistance from their selected Priests. All prospective members of Da Kirkja Dverga should contact the current High Preceptor in order to join.

While the word of the High Preceptor holds the highest regard within the clergy, it is not completely final. In regard to Priest elections, demotions, new amendments to the clergy guidebook, and so forth, these may all be up to a vote between the Priests and High Preceptor.

Upon the High Preceptor's retirement, an election shall be held in which all active members of Da Kirkja Dverga shall vote for whom they wish to be the next High Preceptor. While anyone within the clergy may put their name on the election ballot, the higher your rank, the more sway you will hold in the election.

Upon the election's conclusion, there shall be a two-year grace period in which the current High Preceptor shall personally train the newly appointed High Preceptor. This is to ensure there is no slack upon the exchanging of roles, and work may continue as normal.

Priest:

Priests shall serve Da Kirkja Dverga as a whole and answer to the High Preceptor.

Priests are expected to continue teaching and spreading the faith of the Brathmordakin to any who are drawn to it. This does not mean pushing our faith onto others with violence or fear.

As of now, there shall only be seven active priests at any given time, each shall dedicate themselves to one of the Brathmordakin whose teachings they feel most in line with and oversee sermons and teachings regarding their respective god.

As of the beginning of the Age of Gravel, there are three active Priests. Gallio Grandaxe, Priest of Anbella, Sigrun Stonehammer, Priest of Dungrimm, and Belegar Grandaxe, Priest of Ogradhad.

All current and future Priests should expect visits from the High Preceptor to ensure their work is continued. Should a Priest begin to slack from their duties or stray from the teachings of the Brathmordakin, they may be voted out by a council of fellow Priests and the current High Preceptor.

Priests may also create their own temple dedicated to the Brathmordakin, be this in a vassal, settlement, or in the wilds of the world. They are to be caretakers for such a site, and are still expected to report to the High Preceptor. Here, they are expected to maintain the temple to the highest degree and use it as a place of worship and teaching. This shall remain so until the rise of Urguan comes again.

Acolyte:

Acolytes shall serve primarily as direct assistants to the Priests, High Preceptor, and Clergy as a whole. They are expected to further their knowledge on the Brathmordakin, as well as being encouraged to branch out and learn theology, medicine, history, and so forth.

Acolytes should expect to be tested regularly to be certain they are not straying from their studies. An Acolyte who becomes complacent with the bare minimum has no chance at becoming a priest

Should an Acolyte wish to advance to the rank of Priest, there are two methods. One, wait for either the High Preceptor or a Priest to elect you for the role of Priest, after which a council will be held to discuss such an act. During this council, the Acolyte shall be called forth to make their case for Priesthood, where they will announce which God they wish to serve. During this time, a formal assessment of knowledge will be conducted to decide whether or not the Acolyte is ready. Should the vote go through, they will advance to the rank of Priest. Option two, and the much harder of the two, is for the Acolyte to submit a formal document to the High Preceptor in which they will make their case for attaining the rank of Priest. Should the High Preceptor accept such a claim, the same council will be held.

Neophyte:

Neophytes shall serve as general assistants to Da Kirkja Dverga, answering to Acolytes, Priests, and the High Preceptor. Do not be mistaken, this does not mean the Neophytes are any less important to the ecosystem of the clergy.

It is at this rank that members will take to general studying of any and all fields as well as studying of all the Gods and their teachings, this is to not only expand their mind, but also find what they excel at and where their future may point them.

Neophytes should expect not only to travel from place to place commonly alongside a Priest or Acolyte, but also to be tested on their knowledge at any given time. Be it in the temple, on the road, or at the dinner table.

Should a Neophyte wish to advance to the rank of Acolyte, they must first submit an official tome to the High Preceptor. This tome should contain seven sections, one for each of the Brathmordakin and their teachings. In these sections, the Neophyte is expected to outline their understanding and personal interpretation of these lessons. After review, they will either be advanced to the rank of Acolyte and be guided to the service of one of the Priests, or their tomes will be returned to them with detailed guidelines on what to fix. They may then resubmit their tome after two years.

Temples:
Temples may be created either by the High Preceptor or by a Priest after being given the blessing of the High Preceptor.

These temples may be built anywhere a Priest deems worthy, though it is recommended to set one up in a settlement, vassal, or, if at all possible, a nation. They shall all hold validity, as Da Kirkja Dverga no longer claims one singular temple as its home.

These temples shall each be blessed by the High Preceptor himself before operation; they shall each act as a place of worship and hub for knowledge, no violence is to be shed within them, and no blood is to be spilt.

Da Brathmordakin Akhoral

ᛞᚨ ᛒᚱᚨᚦᛗᛟᚱᛞᚨᚲᛁᚾ ᚨᚲᚺᛟᚱᚨᛚ

It is dire that in these times we do not lose hope, hope for a better future, not only for ourselves but for our children. Our home may be gone for now, but our spirits shall never die, and one day we shall rise again.

When all seems lost, know that the Brathmordakin guides each of our hands and protects our hearts. Narvok oz da Brathmordakin. Narvok oz da dwedmar.
