-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I certainly do, and try to use grammatical perfection in all that I do! If only Minecraft had an option to edit text without deleting it.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I like the Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Yotsubato, about every type of music (bar country), and just in general having fun! I'm courageous, open minded, and love critical thinking. I am a college student, I'm known as very pensive, and if it had an income I would be getting a degree in Philosophy or maybe Psychology, but alas, they rarely do, so I pursue an Economics degree.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Honestly depends on the week. This whole week I am off, so I plan to play a lot, but if I am busy, then I can't promise much. On average, anywhere between 5-7 hours, but this week I wouldn't be surprised if I got 15+.

-How long have you played Minecraft?: About a year I believe.

-What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?: I have been a frequent roleplayer for years. I started with a small community that posted daily and was a large part as Silver from Pokemon (and as the RP revolved around Team Rocket, I had lots of practice). I then moved on to roleplay with a community that dedicated itself to roleplaying, and since then I have taken on many characters and have roleplayed tons. Roleplaying is definitely something that I very much enjoy and hope to pursue for a very long time. To me, it is taking on the embodiment of a character and essentially being that character, but in a different meaning of embodiment. With roleplaying, the character doesn't take your personality, vice versa. Original creations allow for so much character enhancement, because you actual develop what the character is like yourself, rather than taking it from a series or franchise. This allows you to throw in your own goals and desires, what you strive for in a person, what you want to fix, and who you want to become. It's a wonderful thing, roleplaying... #inthatzone

-What do you expect this server will be like?: Not to sound cheesy, but whatever I make of it! There are plenty of people to form friends with and enough of a community that I can avoid people I dislike, if that ever arises.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: This is my first server.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have, I do, and I will abide to them.

-Name the 4 races on this server: Elves, Humans, Dwarves, and Orcs, but also the Undead and the Ascended (and then Aenguls and Daemons, and subraces, yada yada).

In-Character:

-Character Name: Cyt (pronounced "sight")

-What is your Race?: Human, sub-race Northerner.

-Biography: While he was born in the very northern part of Aegis, Cyt moved to Al'Khazar for the majority of his lifetime, and as thus lived most of his life in a large city near a large sea. He grew up with a deep appreciation and love of that around him, and always prefers boats to grass, cities to farms, and the area in which he grew up. Bodies of water that seem to stretch for eternities and cities of people filled to the brim with seemingly thousands of buildings and millions of people just scream out "EXPLORE!". He was a little above the poverty line, but it never affected him and he never really knew. Him and his best friend Blake would always do these things together. His grandfather William had a boat that Cyt and Blake would borrow (or steal) from time to time and go out into the ocean to visit the Whispering Islands, to pretend squids were "Kraken(s)" as they played pirates, or to talk about whatever came to mind.

Cyt had a quiet childhood (bar the urban and maritime exploration), and thus only had a few people close to him: a father and a mother, his grandfather, Blake, his older brother Abraxas, and his younger sister Jessie. While these relationships were powerful, they were fateful, as it seems that misfortune finds its way into Cyt's life. His father died when Cyt was around 7, his best friend, Blake, moved across the continent, and his brother Abraxas went to study with the High Elves (when Cyt came of age to take care of his mother and sister). He often finds himself lonely among these and losses or broken relationships.

Cyt had a father as a boy, but that is all he can claim of having one. He was usually away from home to form too much of a bond, but he can still recall the songs of sugar cane villages in the south that his father would sing to him as a baby, or the stories of his father being a "hero" as he stood watch as a guard over the city. The North was a rigorous place, and as such his father died from a Nomadic Orc invasion, where his mother said he "stood his ground when all others fled". There must be note here that Cyt never once believed this tale, for reasons he does not understand himself. Blake had moved away, to Cyt's heartbreaking happiness, across the sea that they ventured so often with his fatherly mother. Abraxas, once Cyt reached the age of caring for his mother and sister, left to go and study with the High Elves. These events struck a large amount of deep thought and relationship splitting tendencies, but he has since regained much from these experiences, such as a profound critical and analytic mindset and a powerful type of relationship creating persona, one that doesn't latch but still connects, yet still with a sort of hesitancy to trust.

One day like no other, his mother and sister disappeared. He took looking for them for what he recalls "eight days of frantic". Unable to find them, he stayed with his grandfather for a short time. Eventually, Cyt knew that he could not be bound to this area for much longer and he knew his grandfather William did not have much time left in this land, so he took his leave. Not really in search for any traces of his missing family, but to find true friendship and love in people that he know will abide by his side throughout all times. His grandfather gave him his boat, the Judgment, and Cyt left his home in search for new life, companionship, and adventure.

-Character Age: 17

-Character Appearance: Cyt has black hair that falls just below his collarbone. His eyes are an average blue, but due to his general clothing and hair color, often stand out in a contrary juxtaposition. His left eye is always closed a little more than his right, almost as if he was squinting, and his right eye is generally open regularly. He is often seen wearing a red shirt or a gray sweatshirt with dark pants.

Please ignore all references to Pokémon in these images. The original concept of Cyt is a Pokemon trainer, but for the purpose of the roleplay, he will not have anything to do with them, no recollection of them, anything.

-Character Personality: Cyt is pensive and quiet alone. He loves to think about human nature, the world, ethics, life and death, and whatever else may come to mind. When with others, however, he takes on an almost completely different personality. He is, to a cliché, vibrant and outgoing. He loves adventure and exploring the world, especially to places where few have ventured.

When trouble arises, he will always stand for what he believes in, but still remains diplomatic. He believes that people show their true colors when things don't go the way they planned, and hence has a special place in his heart for chaos to show who he can really trust when it is time to fight or take flight.

-Your ambitions: Cyt wants to be with people that he loves, in all forms of the word love, and protect them. He wants to go on adventures and meet new people. He has no set plans, and he knows he can take on whatever may come his way.

-Can your character read or write?: Well enough to navigate and read a book thoroughly, but he isn't doing any literary analysis or writing dissertations anytime soon.

-Can your character mine?: He doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, and may even enjoy it from time to time, in short bouts that is. There is no adventure quite like exploring lava and monster filled caverns, especially that with treasure!

-Are you a capable builder?: Yes, and due to his exploratory personality, he loves doing so. He doesn't like the work as much, so he will build intricate things that require more thinking than doing.

-Can you wield a sword?: Sort of. As a boy he would always play with "swords", which were usually sticks or rods, but he isn't very good on a competitive or fighter level. He wants to improve, and he knows he needs one if he is going to stay alive on his travels.

-Enjoy Farming?: He generally dislikes all farming and leaves it to others, but something about the smell of sugarcane makes him enjoy being in the area of it, but it is the only exception.

-Does your character have any special skills?: He has heightened accuracy due to his left eye being always much more closed than his right and much practice with throwing and catching all sorts of objects. He's also pretty good at sneaking around without being caught. He has a special talent for analogies, and can relate one to nearly any scenario. He is fantastic at navigation and has what his mother used to call a "natural born sense of direction". He can navigate waters very well and is an excellent swimmer, but even a better sailor.

-Other Information: After careful evaluation, this server definitely seems to be one of the highest quality for roleplaying. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to be here, and even potentially roleplay here!
