What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:Roleplaying is taking on the role of a person, or character, and follow or build their story.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.Metagaming is finding out certain things out of character and bringing it into role-play for personal benefit. Powergaming is when somebody tries to aim to be more powerful than all others. They have one goal and won't stop until that goal is met.

What do you expect this server will be like?:I'm hoping that this server will hold a lot of rich role-play that one can just get sucked into.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I have played on a role-play server known as Tales of Mel-Lenxia. I'm no longer at that server because, even though some may disagree, it is dying. Nobody is ever on and I find myself the only one on at times.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:I have read, understood, and agreed to all of the rules.

How did you hear about us?:I've seen this server on Google a few times when I searched for role-play servers. Some of my friends recently joined and boasted about this server. I felt it was a good time to sign up, seeing as how I need a new role-play server to play on.

Character Name: Destyn Alestan

What is your Race?:Wood Elf

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Destyn was born and raised in the Elven city of Laurelin. Destyn, only at the age of 62, is still extremely young and not as wise as some of the older elves. Some of his elders have even taken to calling him reckless and naive. He doesn't tend to pay any mind to it. He is agile and has a more slender build, with a more pale skin color than most of the other wood elves. His hair is a dirty blonde and his eyes are a pale blue. He tended to cause trouble and ruckus around the city during his childhood, being escorted to his home by authorities on multiple occasions. He started his archery training at a young age, continuing his practices even until his current age. Destyn would go out alone and practice his archery, tracking, and agility. Sometimes even staying in the city and practicing thievery. Again, of course, he was caught on several occasions. His family was never anywhere near rich. Most of them wearing rags instead of decent clothes. Being the youngest child in the family, his siblings and parents gave him the best of things. They nurtured him. As a child, he thought nothing of it, but as he matured, he started to realize. He wanted to be treated as an equal. He didn't like to see his family suffer over him. He began going out hunting at least once a week, so his family no longer had to buy food, bringing more money in for clothes and comforts. He loved his family and would do anything for them. Every single one of them were close with one another. Seeing anybody disrespect of their own kin would make him sick to his stomach. Although caring for his family, Destyn lived a carefree lifestyle; doing many different things to have fun. This included many dangerous and risky consequences. He grew a heavy wanderlust as a child; even before maturity. He always lived in Laurelin and the areas around it. Destyn never really wandered off far. Finally, he decided on his sixty-second birthday that he was going to leave home. He wanted to explore the world. He wanted to see what it had in store for him.

Your characters ambitions:

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?:Destyn would stick to the shadows, being careful not to blow his cover. He would then draw his bow and shoot the bandits in crippling areas of their limbs, but not hit any fatal area. Afterwards, he would show himself, help the elf, and make sure the bandits weren't mortally wounded. If they weren't, he would leave them to patch themselves up and get the elf to safety.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?:Destyn would give him a weak grin and say in a quiet tone, "Yes my good sir.. I would like to see your wares. I think you have something I may be interested in." Destyn would be careful not to make eye contact with the shop owner.
