My 2.0 Character

[Hulgard 1]

Character Name: Hulgard Siguardson

What is your Race?: Human - Northerner

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

History: (The Current year is 1345)

Hulgard was born Malin’s Welcome of 1329, when Al’Khazar still stood strong. The first two years of his life would be that of a normal toddler. Wishing to grow and be like his father, as his mother forced him to stay in the safety of the home. But, soon enough this would change. In fact, too soon.

In Sun’s Smile of 1331, his sister, Einmyria would bring new life to the family of Siguardson, but take one as well. His mother would die giving Child Birth. Responsibility would hit Hulgard hard in the next few years. When Einmyria was 10 years old, Hulgard was 12. As Einmyria stayed home cooking and cleaning, Hulgard would hunt. The game he would bring home would feed the family, while his father brought in his pay from the Oren Guard. This source of money would pay for Hulgard’s first blade.

The blade would prove to be his weapon of choice. The Oren Guard would always turn him down for his age, and because of this he was given more time to train. Although he is not the best swordsman, he is pretty good for a teenager.

When Hulgard turned 15 his father caught a fever. Fevers proved to be the end of many people’s lives, and his father’s live would be one of the many. On his deathbed, he would dub Hulgard with the duty to protect his little girl, Einmyria. Shortly after the death of his father, all lands and properties were stripped from the siblings and they were left in the World of Aegis alone. The responsibility dubbed on Hulgard is a lot, but his willpower is strong.

Age: 16

Appearance:

Hulgard is 5’11 and 155 pounds. He is rather slim, but has strength just as well. His hair is a greasy looking brown, even if it is dry. He has deep blue eyes just like his sister. There is a single pimple on his face that never went away and gradually formed into a permanent scar.

Personality:

Hulgard is very hard headed, and takes things too seriously. Despite his quite hostile attitude, he does what he knows is right.

Your characters ambitions:

Hulgard will stop at nothing to keep his sister safe and in good health, as it was his father’s wish. Wherever the young siblings choose to settle, Hulgard plans on joining the guard in order to keep not only his sister safe, but his people as well.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Hulgard glances down to his sister who was picking at a flower's stem, “Sister, go up the path.. NOW!”

As Hulgard pushes his sister away, he begins to follow. Only after a few hurried steps do the Bandits look up: “Leaving so soon?”

Hulgard turns around, his sister stopping as well. Hulgard runs up to his sister forcing her to run back to the King’s Road. “Leave me be, thieves!”

“Oh, but we are just getting started.” The bandit mutters as he steps over the dead elf that the other bandit is looting.

Unable to leave his sister alone, he runs, sure to keep his sister ahead of him. The bandits would chase them into town, but by then the guards would have had the bandits. If they would have caught up, Hulgard would have sacrificed himself for his sister with no fear.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

“Aye. What d’ya have for sale?” He looks to the elderly shopkeeper’s eyes which seem to be focused on his sister.

“H-hey! What are you doing?!”

“Wh-what? I’m sorry sir I just was taking your ord –“

“NO! You were looking at my sister!”

Although the shopkeeper only gave a single glance, Hulgard is extremely protective of his sister. This attitude of his can indeed burn bridges, but he himself is unaware.

You don't need to write anything if you're making a new or character (except for maybe how the other character died). So I'm just going to move it to the denied forums, even though you can make this new character whenever you want. Thanks.
