Goliath 384 Share Posted January 8, 2012 The Rise Of The Darkness: They brought first hand destruction, looming down upon the wrecked towns, flames engulfing its inhabitants. The few that challenged Aeriels followers, never wishing to fight alongside the undead as they had no business there, they weren't fighting for beliefs, they were fighting for destruction. In their hands as they fought lie they eye of the enderman, guiding them to victory. He was watching them, untouched, the one they call the darkness. The battle turned sour, as blood was spilled and lives were lost, the chances of victory for the Darkness' followers seemed slim. The snap of chill hit their spines as the flowing black robed demon arose from the shadows. For century's those within the Darkness Order believed this 'demon' was him, returning to help his followers in their time of dire need. A sword in the grip of a rotting, encrusted with blood hand, walking toward the castle, home to the cowering king, hiding as his people fought the followers of the darkness. The battle froze, heavily armored men gasped at this spectacle. This was no ordinary day, this was the day that shocked the centuries of worshipers. The door of the castle opened. Alone stepped the king, no armor, just a sword in hand. Broadening himself he screamed, calling death upon the darkness, demanding the gods to smite this beast. It stopped in its tracks, eyeing up the king, questioning the cowardness and finally, as the cool air turned bitter, demanding a fight. The books don't tell the gruesome scene after, those who confront the followers of the darkness shall know when proven worthy. Stumbled upon: He reached the mountains, they stood broad and strong, secrets filtered within, only revealing to those in need. He stood, deep gashes into his weak, scarred skin, bowing before them, the one who wished. Through the ages, father told son of The Darkness Order and the story of the falling. Only they knew, hunted so the information wouldn't spread, but his ancestors were strong. Goliath, his name was, the latest descendant, his parents killed for unknown reasons days after his father told him of the hidden guild. They thought no-one knew of their existence, as the boy was only young as his father, gasping for air murmured to him. He prayed, pleading to be accepted into this place of deceit. The breeze became non existent and the air turned thin as a screech from the shadows burst into Goliaths eardrums. The mountains began to shift, slowly but surely the cold glow from the center became visible. They were there, the inhabitants who follow the Darkness Order, the ones to be feared. Goliath was to be tested. A sword was passed to him from a cowering slave, begging for mercy before scurrying back into the shadows. A hooded man walked towards Goliath and gave a slight bow whispering his welcomes, unsheathing his sword. The test was scrutinizing, a battle against one of the leaders, a battle till the death, to prove Goliaths worthiness. He stumbled, the falter which would shatter his life instantly. The leader stumbled. A slice to the heart and the atmosphere died, falling to the ground, he was dead. Accepted into the guild, he stepped within the doorway to the darkness. The fall of the Darkness The Darkness rose its sword and extended its arm towards the kings crown. A fight that would last seconds. An arrow shot from the building into the stony back of the darkness, followed by a stab from the king. The Darkness could do nothing but embrace the pain, falling to its knees before the king. The Darkness showed weakness, and as the king swung at its neck, the followers could do nothing. Falling to the ground. The Darkness was killed. A soft glow seeped through the blood stained cloak and rose into the skies, vanishing almost instantly. The Great Resurrection: Goliath stood before an empty seat, gold encrusted headrest and a whole diamond footrest. Goliath had killed the leader, the one who kept the guild as one, and as an enderman eye was placed into Goliaths hand, the power became almost instant. Soft streaks of glowing fluid rose from the floor and toward the eye. 'The resurrection into the new leaders body.' Spoke one of the men as the process quietened down, leaving Goliath unconscious, lying upon the chair. The soul of the Darkness had entered Goliaths body so The Darkness Order could return one last time. The men, assassins, thieves, the men filled with destruction stood before the mountains, holding to their swords, ready to pursue on their missions throughout Aegis, to cause destruction and terror where ever they shall go. The end, until the next time. This guild is for all villains, they could be assassins, thieves, blood-witches, or just like to cause destruction. They will be lead by Goliath, the chosen one as they pursue to bring havoc across Aegis. They are a tight knit band, hidden, no-one shall know of The Darkness Order, only of the havoc it brings. If anyone shall tell of the order, they shall die. (Must be a low starting role): If you are accepted you will go through a series of trials to prove your worthiness. Ranks: Bronze assassin: The lower level for assassins, helps with missions and is the least trusted. They shall prove their worthiness to gain a higher level, but now they are only a minor. Iron assassin: A trusted assassin, a well earned place and will be chosen and honored for slightly difficult missions. They will need to prove utmost honesty and skill to gain a higher level. Diamond assassin: The leader of the assassins, they have proven themselves and are bowed to from the elders, a high and well admired role within the guild. They will be used for harder missions, with their life at risk, they are trusted and have the strength of the darkness. Bloodstain minor: The minor thieve, the same level as the bronze assassin, but with a different role to play. They are out before an attack, causing a minute amount of havoc to stir up the panic in towns. The strength: The lead thief, used for protection and for use in attacks, stealing precious minas and weaponry for the guild. They are trusted and have proven themselves worthy. The elder: Chosen by the darkness, the soul of the darkness within. The leader of the guild who instructs battles, muggins and assassinations in and around the guild. Brute: A well trained swordsman, helping in battles and used for protection, they fight for the guild and have high respect from the elder.
