Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: My name is Kenneth. I like playing minecraft and other online games such as world of warcraft and terraria. I enjoy roleplaying and I have been on a few roleplaying servers before.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 2-3 hours a day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: Roleplaying to me is a chance to leave one world and become part of another, becoming a new person/character and experiencing what it's like to be an elf in a forest or an in-mate stuck in prison. It allows me to express my imagination through the actions and words of my character.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are:

Metagaming: This is whereby you use out of character information, for example information you found on a wiki or forums, to enhance your performance in the game. So if you were in need of obsidian you would look up how to make it on the internet instead of going out and searching for it or coming across it while mining.

Powergaming: My understanding of this term is where for example a player is allowed to make his own character. If this player was powergaming he would make his character out to be the best in the entire game. He would describe at has the ultimate character with every power imaginable and he would consider himself to be the best.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I think this server will be completely different to any other rp server that I have ever been on. I think this as I have heard wonderful things about this server and heard the time and effort put in by the staff is outstanding.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on citycraft for a short while but left due to a lack in rule enforcement and the horrible landscape left after factions got destroyed and left behind.

How did you hear about us?: From some friends that play on your server.

Character Name: Elrond Arminus

What is your Race?: Elf

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Elrond is 900 years of age and at a height of 7'11". Elrond once belonged to a large kingdom of peaceful elves that lived in the depths of an ancient forest. They were wise elves that never sought war and lived in peace and harmony among each other. Elrond belonged to a respectful family who were not overly wealthy but enjoyed what nature had to offer. The kingdom itself had a large quantity of natural resources such as wood, water and mineral deposits including iron, gold and diamond ore which many foreign groups were envious of. Elrond and the other elves never cared much about what was happening outside of there own kingdom and they were quite happy living in this way.

But almost 400 years ago a large group of about 100 orcs, from a not so distant fortress, left their allegiance and went rogue. These orcs were brutal by nature and did not believe in authority, respect or peace. They knew the elves were fragile and too peaceful to stand a chance against them and so they saw a chance to take what was rightfully theirs. The orcs launched the attack at night slaying everyone in their path out of pure lust and greed. Having little experience in combat the elves were wiped out overnight, and their kingdom was burned to the ground. Only a handful of elves escaped that night including Elrond who ran as far away from the massacre as possible.

After that day Elrond vowed never to trust the race of orc's again. He began living on his own in the forests and woods, hunting for his own food and constantly travelling from place to place.He began teaching himself, training in the arts of battle and became an expert in archery. Now he lives a life of solitude ruing the day the orcs killed his people. From time to time Elrond will settle in welcoming towns and villages but not for too long because all he wants is to blend in.

If you are lucky enough to see Elrond, he will appear to be very tall, slim and very cunning. He has long blonde hair with deep blue eyes which could spot an orc a great distance away. He is generally friendly and timid but when provoked he is not someone you want as an enemy. Never get on his bad side or you will find yourself struggling to free the arrow from your buttocks.

Your characters ambitions: Elrond's greatest desire is to be part of an elvish community once again and even though he does not seek war he will never forget what the orc's did all those years ago. Revenge will remain in his heart forever.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

I would approach the scene to see what the problem is and if the elf is in need of my assistance I would help him without question because he is one of my own.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Hello, I was wondering if you could help me find someone in particular actually. You see there is a dwarf by the name of...., I've forgotten his name now, anyway he foolishly challenged me to a drinking contest last night and now he owes me some coins. Could you tell me where I could find this drunken dwarf?

I do apologize about the name, I had no intention of copying L.O.T.R by using Elrond as it was a random name that I generated. I will have no trouble in changing the name in the future if u

desire. Also I have no problem in changing my skin because it is a Legolas skin which was the only one which suited my characters characteristics.
