My name is Marc, and I am a 19-year old college studentstudying Business. I have played video games since I was an

infant, and have focused on RPG's in the last 5 years. I'vebeen playing Minecraft since it went public, and have joined many Role Playing

servers since then.

How much time could you be onthe server weekly?:

Usually, I would be able to play approximately 2-3 hoursevery night, totalling up to approximately 20 hours per week.

What do you know aboutRoleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

To me, Roleplaying is completely immersing myself in aworld, where I speak its language, behave in ways acceptable to its society, and

interacting with other people in a way consistent with it'shabits and traditions.

In your own Words, describewhat Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is when I use knowledge and information out ofcharacter, to do things in game. Powergaming is when I use RP to force otherplayer to achieve goals and tasks.

What do you expect this serverwill be like?:

I have a pretty good idea of what it will be like from manyfriends who have joined already. But I expect this server to be a realistic,seriously RP environment where I can fully immerse myself in the experience.

Townar (RP) – I leftthe server because the leader shut it down to pursue other interests.

The Kingdoms (RP) – I will leave due to constant crashingand the players almost never stick to RP

My best friend Logan joined TOTC recently and has beenraving about it. Also, many of my friends from The Kingdoms have left as welland have recommended this to me, since I’m a big RP fan.

Biography(This should includethe history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance andpersonality, etc.):

Terentius is handsome, young man with a silver tongue and aquick hand. He was raised by a good mother and father who cared for him.Unfortunately, his parents died of sickness when he was at the tender age of12, leaving him to his uncle to raise. At the age of 18, Terentius grew toresent his sheltered life with his uncle and wanted to experience the world andits entire people. He set out with nothing but the clothes on his back and anidea in his mind, the simple idea to learn from the many cultures around himand to experience all this world had to offer. So with this idea he set out tomake his own way in the world and create his own stories that he may share withfuture generations.

Your charactersambitions:

Terentius has come tohate his life in his uncle’s house, running errands, and staying within theboundaries set for him. He wants to travel throughout the land, and visitdifferent cities, meet new people, forge alliances, and make memories. Hestrongly stands by his father’s last words: “What man is a man, if he did notchange the world?”

Out in the Wilds, yourcharacter comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elfstruggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

While on his adventures through the wilds of Asulon,Terentius comes across a small cottage where an elf is locked in combat withtwo bandits. He quickly ducks behind a grouping of boulders to gather his wits.As Terentius is not a man for fighting ,he decides to take the path of words.Stepping from behind the boulders he lets out a loud whistle drawing theattention of the bandits. As they close in on him he raises his hand to getthem to stop. Looking them over quizzically he tilts his head to the side andsays “It seems a waste to kill a potential source of income. Instead of killingthis poor elf why not simply come back every so often to collect a small sum ofMinas or goods, protection money if you will. And in return you simply keep himsafe from other bandits in these lands.” The bandits stop as if mulling it overand shrug and simply walk away with their plunder. Terentius walks over to theelf and after being thanked for saving him, Terentius suggests that he move tonew lands to avoid this particular group of bandits.

Your character walks up to ashop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shopowner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your characteranswer?

Terentius walks into the shop and begins to browse thewares. After a few minutes of this he walks up to the shopkeep and statesrather plainly “I’m looking for some supplies, I have quite the journey aheadof me.” The shopkeep grins and says “Another young man going off to find hisown namesake eh? Seen a lot of your type in here lately, let me see how I canhelp you out!” Seeing that this man just wanted to help Terentius quickly turnson his charm and smiles at him. After a few minutes of friendly banterTerentius gets the shopkeep to drop the price by a few Minas and walks out tobegin his journies.

But don't lose hope! After two days you can re-apply which gives you plenty of time to fix up your application and plan it out, as well as use all the advice I am about to give you to make it spot on. Also check out the links at the bottom of this page, trust me they really help.

You have very nice anwers to the RP questions, but there are a few too many mistakes in the other questions which has made be decide to deny you.

First of all your definition for powergaming is partially correct, but is a little differently worded which makes me think twice about whether you understand the definition or not. To just make sure you understand I suggest going to the Lord of the craft wiki (link at the bottom of this post) and searching for "Powergaming".

Your biography is too short and needs some expansion. Please include the entire question when writing your biography such as your characters history, personality, description and age. With the description don’t just write He is tall and old and carries around a bow. There are a lot of tall, old people who carry around bows. Get descriptive, what is your hair colour? How long? Eye colour? Big eyes? Small eyes? Do you have wrinkles? Freckles? A mole? Etc. Also, if your character is good at swordsmanship, bows or even magic you need to explain in your biography why your character is so good in what it does and how it developed these skills. We would like you to include some lore from the world of Aegis and/or Asulon such as names of towns and people, or even events which have happened before and your characters connection to the event. For example you could write my character was born in the elven kingdom of . . . or near the human fort of . . .

Apart from these two things your application is very nice, and I think that you will definately be admitted on your next application.
