Heial'thilln Reconvenes

The Maheral approaches the notice board once again, the necessary tools to perform the mundane ritual in hand. The night is dark and the streets quiet; paths are poorly illuminated by the torches placed upon the various structures; some were new, some were old.

Many an hourglass had been upturned and many a candle extinguished while he laboured in the deep regions of Haelun'or; it would have been improbable for anyone to notice, but the once white robes he wore could attest to this. Smirking as he finishes the task, he continues to muse over the progress occuring whilst he seeks old secrets in old places.

The day star rises, bathing the city in warm glows as the citizens arise to continue with their going-ons. Gravel crunches underfoot, still wet from rain in the previous passings. The message - covered with the dirt imprints of a few slender fingers - conveys this:

"The Silver Council will meet once more upon the passing of two karim from this day - the 26th of Suns Smile, 18th Year of the Great Departure."

A calligraphic 'D' is signed on the bottom of the parchment in a slightly unsteadier manner than is normal.

The time had come once again; transpirings aplenty warranted another to take place and the other council members indubitably had much to share between them; Dio himself no exception. Stepping out from the College during twilight, he repeats the process that will inform the citizens of the coming meet. Gazing towards the night sky a while, he feels a sense of assurance marvelling at the starlight. Casting one last glance to the notice board, he retreats to the places of hearth and fire's light.

"The Heial'thilln will hold councel once again openly for the public of Haelun'or with the passing of four karim."

I shall be there, and would like the following points of discussion to be handled:

- Discussing the possibility of acquiring new council members.

- Starting an alliance and possible ship route with the now Renatian town of Ceru.

- Beginning a search to rally guilds of merit to our town with the purpose of mutual learning.

- Creating a series of alliances with the smaller sovereign city states of Asulon to ensure our independence and deter warfare.
