Minecraft Account Name: My Minecraft account name is Wubblez_69.

How old are you?: I am 15 years of age, and will be turning 16 October 17, 2012.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: I live in the USA, and my time-zone is Pacific Standard Time.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I was born and raised on the English language. I speak it, write it, and type it fluently with correct grammar and all.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, I'm 15 years old, I live in California, and I'm a gamer. I love to play video games of any type. Scary, adventure, puzzle, shooting, action, racing, any game you name, I'll play. In my spare time, I skateboard with friends, I eat, and I go to school. Yes, I consider going to school my spare time.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Well right now, I have classes that don't give any homework. So everyday after school I'm most likely on Minecraft. I get home around 3:30 and play probably until 9. So that's about 5 1/2 hours daily. So in a week that would add up to 38 1/2 hours give or take a few if I'm doing anything on the weekends.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Role-playing is a form of art. It gives people a reason to act out their character they love most. Role-playing is where people would act out their favorite character from a book, movie, game or just a made up character. They really live as how they seem to live. They talk, eat, use their manners exactly how the character would. This means that they basically are the character.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: As a kid growing up in California, with all the movie stars and acting going on, I sorta took on a passion for acting. I love to do it as another spare time activity. When their would be a play in school I would always be the first one to raise their hand for a role.Role-playing on Minecraft Servers is jsut another type of thing that's fun to me. I would always be the first to start it on most servers. And I wouldn't get out of character for one second when I would do role-play.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is basically cheating. You are acquiring information for the game, outside of the game. For example, someone plans to surpirse attack, and your friend tells you about it outside of the game. You prepare for battle even though it was meant to be surprise. You do not know there is going to be a surprise attack in the role-play, but you get ready for a battle that you don't even know is going to happen. So it's knowing information inside the game that you found out from an outside source, and using it to help you in your advantage.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is when you overpower a character. Meaning that you have a group of friends. Friend A has swords max level. Friend B has Archery max level. Friend C has health max level. You use all of this to create one character and use it in battle of some sort. You would have someone to do close combat, someone to do distant combat and someone to go in and just kill anybody because of their max level of health. This would be powergaming.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be full of players who are just like me. Who can role-play very well, love doing it, are very friendly, never griefed, and are just plain awesome. I can expect this server has very little issues with griefing because of the high standards for the applications.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've played on mainly survival servers, and the reason why I left most of them was because within a few weeks I would already be promoted to mod/admin. I don't want that because it just tempts me to cheat. So I would leave and find another survival server.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have read/understood/agreed to every single rule on the rules list.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: I agree to follow any rules that apply to the Server, Forums, Teamspeak and any other place that has rules.

How did you hear about us?: I found out about you when I was searching for a really good server. I read about how this server was, and researched a little on it. I heard a lot of positive things about LoTC! Now I want to join it to see if all of it is true. :)

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?: Of course! Why wouldn't I vote for such a great server. And I'm not sure, but I do think that I am number 1,019.

Character Name: My name, is Aulaeum

What Race are you?:I was born and raised an Elf.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):I must say, that I do not have a sub-race me lord.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Ah, so it seems you have stumbled yourself into unknown territory have ya? Who am I? I'm Aulaeum. Where did I come from? Well, enough with the questions. Why don't I just tell ye my life story. As a young elf, I was raised to be a quiet, friendly, strong-minded person. I di'nt have much you see. All I had was the clothes on me back. I worked in the forests gatherin' wood for me father who was a woodcutter. Growing up was difficul' with all the hard labor on me scrawny lil' body. At the age of 17, I ran away from me home. I was tired of workin' in forests 'nd gettin' paid cheaply. I ran far away 'nd ended up in a town called Malinor. People here were very friendly to me 'nd I loved bei' here. When me 18 birth year had come I was able to work 'nd get paid. I got a job workin' for an old farmer. He had great stories to tell when we were not workin'.

Now me workin' as a farmer, I didn't have much things to wear. I had leather things that seemed used 'nd smelled of poo. I would wash 'nd wash but the smell wouldn't come out. These clothers were stained as well. But some fancy girl had seen somethin' behind these ragged clothes. We married when I was only 19 years of age. I left the farm 'nd had gotten me own house. We lived together for one year, but when I had turned 20, she had died. She became sick with an illness that was uncurable. With this terrible news, I had nothin' more. Then one day, a messanger had arrived at me house in the meadow 'nd said that the farmer I had been workin' for has passed, 'nd he wanted me to have his land. I moved immediatly 'nd took over the farm.

Now I am 21 and I still live in me farm that the old man had given me. It is well taken care of and I actually have gained enough money to make it even bigger. I am well paid and have made me own house bigger. I live just outside of Malinor, where very little activity occurs. This is how it is for me today. Now why don't you head on up the road where Malinor is 'nd get yourself settled in. Please do visit me if there is any trouble or questions that are still running though your mind. What is your Character's ambitions?: Me life's ambitions are to live a long, happy 'nd peaceful life. I would love to travel the world with me wife 'nd kids.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): My favorite tool has got to be me shovel. I love her to death. She has served me well with her diamond encrusted surface. I've loved her so much I've given her a name. She's called Blue Jay.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Me greatest talents have got to be me farming, and material gatherin'. I can get almost any material required for something. 'nd I can make up a pretty handy dandy farm if you know what I mean.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?Aulaeum would pass casually not wanting to alarm anyone. If and when the warriors approach Aulaeum would simply say "Hail" If all goes well, Aulaeum will be on his way peacefully to his destination he was orignally going to.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Aulaeum would begin talking to the merchant casual like. Not showing that he is interested in anything. He would ask what else the merchant has and view everything he has in stock. If the merchant has anything in particular, Aulaeum would more than likely buy it. If not, he would simply thank the merchant for his time and be on his way.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: He wouldn't have responded because Aulaeum knows that he shouldn't be snooping in other people's belongings no matter if it looks abandonded or not. He would not like it if someone were to look in his stuff if he were to be out somewhere.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? He would see if the people are friendly. If they are, he would begin to have a conversation. He would make friends of the traders and get to know them more. Then he would simply ask the question "Have ye any food to trade?" Then Aulaeum would begin to ask what they would prefer to trade for a bread or two. Once the trading is complete, Aulaeum would be on his way two finding a small town or city.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He would offer his help almost immediately after hearing the news. He would prepare for battle. He would see if there are enough people to fight the bandits. If there are, Aulaeum would fall back and defend the city of any bandits who decided to sneak into the city while it was left unguarded. If there wasn't enough fighters, Aulaeum would go into battle, but stay back a bit to keep an eye out for any bandits who decided to part ways with the fighting ones.

Sadly even something as simple as an incorrect definition of powergaming will warrant you an instant denial.

Your definition of powergaming was incorrect.

Luckily for you there are plenty of ways to learn the correct definition. First of all you can look on the lord of the craft wiki and then search for "Powergaming", you can join our Team Speak channel (You can get Team Speak from http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads ), or you can do a google search.

Biography needs improvement.

I do like the style of your application, but there are a few too many errors to let go there.

The accent of your character seems a bit too dwarvish or uneducated country human than Elven. Do note that even the country Elves are well spoken and will not use slang all that often.

Malinor isn't a town, it is an entire continent. I think you should do a little research on the towns inside Malinor for your biography.

Perhaps you could do a little research on uncurable sicknesses? Sicknesses would be a lot harder to cure during the time period of Lord of the Craft, so even a bad flu can kill.

You need to improve the open response questions.

You need to assume that the situation is happening now, and that you are your character. This means that there is no "if this happens, then I would do that..." etc.

We prefer it to be written in 1st person, as in that way you will be able to write more RP and in better detail.
