Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I would consider myself good at the English language and it's grammar.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, to get straight to the point. I enjoy writing, reading, playing video games, hanging out with friends and I have a new found love for role playing.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:Well, attending school in all, I would say around 20+ hours

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Like I said, I have a new found love for role playing. I haven't been doing it for a while but I think this is one of those things that will stick to me and last a while. A definition of role playing to me is a character thought up by you which is unique solely to you. It's an alternative life that you can just immerse yourself in and enjoy it the whole time.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I don't know if this counts but I've been playing World of Warcraft for a good 5-6 years, I have a basic understanding of role playing that I would like to sharpen, per say.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: From my understanding it's an act of using information not readily available to your character or n external use of information from something like a youtube video, or a forum to gain an edge.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Now this I had too look up, but from how I read it essentially exploiting your ability to make yourself (i.e. your character) the absolute best it can be with no weaknesses or flaws. Its sort of like a living stereotype. For example an elf who is amazing at archery, can run very fast and jump through tree's or a dwarf who uses nothing but an axe, is very warrior like, mail or plate armor and all. It optimizes your characters strengths while minimizing its weaknesses.

What do you expect this server will be like?: From what I can tell so far, it's a fine role playing server with a caring community and admins.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: For the second question, I haven't left any of the servers by choice. But the servers I normally played on were Herocraft, TKraft, and anarchy.gleany.com(The server was my main server, sadly it was shut down due to the upkeep it costed.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have.

Character Name: My name is Diarmada longstrider

What Race are you?: I am indeed an elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): None

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): I was born in Normandor to a "caring family", *diarmada sneers at the fact of speaking that* my family was ragtag and broken even before I entered it. We were poor, scrounging for food or anything of worth to a merchant. My mother had to ***** for money and my father was a bruiser for a merchant, both in deep debt for there drug addictions. They were in a dirty business, them both. They left me in the care of my older sister, elleren, for the majority of my life. She was what kept the family together, she had a demeanor that would light up a room. She was the diamond in the rough and she was my world. One day my father came home early, the smell of alcohol heavy on his breath. My sister went to ask him why he was here so early. My father bore down on her cursing and beating her, he had just been laid off from his job. The whole time he was beating her senseless I was in the corner weeping at the sight unfolding before me. It went on for a while, it felt like an eternity but when I lifted at my eyes from the lack of commotion I saw my sister. She was face down, lying in a pool of darkened blood. It was so still, so quiet, horrifying. My father has apparently left the house once he was done, "thankfully" he had not noticed me. So I did what any young elf would do in my situation. I ran. Some years later I returned to the city a full grown man, I went to the house where it all occurred, there was nothing but an old woman who practically broke down at the sight of me. She told me I was so tall, so handsome after all the years. She told me that after what my father had done, he had decided to pick a fight with a bandit and had died from the fight. Having the information I seeked, I left the woman with a good sum of money and left with saying a word.

OOC: Diarmada is a tall, average looking elf, with shaggy brown hair, usually hidden beneath a green cowl and mask. He is not very trusting due to his history, but when he makes a friend, you can count on him for life. He favors a sword he found in a trash bin

What is your Character's ambitions?: Well, if I did indeed have an ambition it would be a good sum of wealth with a loving family, something my family could never give me.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): A sword

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? From my times on the street, I developed a knack for sensing danger from afar. I'm however an apprentice swordsman, not having to use it much.

Other Information about your Character: He has a rather sour demeanor, not taking to trusting someone easily. He has a quirk or rolling a knife between his fingers, much to peoples assumption of trying to demoralize, but really when he's thinking.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Being that I don't like people all too much, I pass without saying a word to the thugs or the distraught halfling.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "well, let me think. * Diarmada proceeds to roll a knife between his fingers. Much to the merchants fearful glance towards the blade every few seconds. "I could use a new sword, mine is rather rusty" The merchant offers a reasonable price and Diarmada take it.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Bypass it with hesitance, It could be a trap to ambush oblivious travelers. Or there's the chance of having to interact with someone inside the hut.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Ask if they have any food, holding a good sum of money for anything edible.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: No matter how much the reward, I don't want to have to listen to someone give me orders. I decline and go about my day.
