Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I have a great grip on the English language! I think I have a good grip because I've been speaking it my whole life.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am just a regular teen that likes to have fun with my friends. I like messing around, unless I need to be serious on occations.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I'm usually on alot in general. Hopefully, I could be on about 4 days a week (usually weekends)I would be on 2 hours or more.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: I think Roleplaying is just pretenting to be a character that you'd like to be. You have to act and have fun, be serious at times. I've seen roleplaying before. I think I'd be good at it because I like acting.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I've seen the Shadow of Israphel from BlueXephos. I believe that's Role-playing. At times, I roleplay with my friends. We roleplay about random things.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: It's like defining a strategy.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: This is interacting and stuff to games, or reaching some sort of a goal.. I think. I guess like if you interact with..Skyrim?

What do you expect this server will be like?:[/b] I love role-playing. Since this is roleplaying I think this server will be very fun. I hope that I will enjoy it. I like games such as skyrim, I think it's going to be like that. That's awesome!

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have my own. 4 slots. I play on it sometimes. It's still running right this second. I've played on another server called Antares. I still go online there but not much because it gets a little boring sometimes. I don't think this server will get boring, at all. I think this because It's roleplaying.

Character Name: Eli Sengoli

What Race are you?: My race? I'm Acsenced.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Ahh. Where do I start? Well, The name is Eli Sengoli. I am 17 years old. I have brown hair and pretty green eyes. I believe that my personallity is wonderful. I try to help out anyone I can. I am an Assassin in a group that won't be named. I was raised in Italy. When I was about 10 years old, I was out fake sword fighting with my friends. There was a horrible fire in my house. My mother, father, and my sister Sophia, died. I was heartbroken.

Ever since then, I vowed to never give up. I have lived with my cousin Zachary, or zacmaat. I have been looking for Martin. He is this nasty fiene. Martin killed three of my best friends. I will get revenge on him. I know I will. I have a passion for nature and climbing. I try my best not to get into trouble. It's hard not to get into trouble when you're me. It's hard because I'm poor. The problem is I hunt for food for my cousin and I. I don't like to do it. It comes in handy since I'm risky, sneaky, and quiet.

I don't want to get too off topic about myself. Although, I do want to talk about my cousin. He is a different race than me, a human. We live together in a small town called Wood Island. Wood Island is very small in the middle of nowhere. If I do get to this new area (area=server) I will indeed move. This will be a new experence to be moving. I've always been quite quiet. I have always been quite interested in blacksmithing. I never knew where armor came from, or how it was made. On my face always, is paint. I love paint. Paint symbolizes my family. Everyone in my family wore paint. That was like a tradition.

I will never forget what happened between my family, my friends, and Martin. I will fight until I fight him and his evil minons. I will also never forget what Martin left me; this note.

Don't get upset. You know this wasn't me! I didn't kill your friends. I'm you're friend. You know who killed your parents? Your friends did! Yeah.. That's right! The fire was lite by your friend Peter. I watched the whole thing. He told me to light it but I didn't.

My uncle Url has been helping me alot trying to track down Martin. Nothing has gotten us further yet. My uncle is a scientist type of person. It shouldn't be hard for him, but it is. I hope one day I will rise as a hero in my dads name. I want to make my family proud. I want to kill Martin, and I want a small town in honor of my name.. Sengoli.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Eli's ambition is to defeat Martin. The one that has killed his friends.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): My weapon that I like the best.. The Bow and Arrow. Man, I love that thing.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: Fighting, climbing, and generally surviving.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Answer: I would attack the warriors with my flank attack. It isn't right to steal.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Answer: "Is it legal to sell this stuff?" If so, I would try to buy something cheap. If it wasn't legal, or stolen, I would report the man.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I would just stumble by it with the items still hidden inside.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would ask for any direction to a city or town. I would hope that they wouldn't attack me or anything like that.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I would help the guards if the bandits are very evil. My character eli likes to defend his loved ones or somewhere he is living. I would accept the reward and give some of it to poor people because I am poor.

I am very sorry, but your application has been moved to the denied section of the forums. There are numerous reasons for this, all of which I have included in my feedback below this message. In the mean time there is an abundant source of information, stories, guides and other helpful tips to get you on your way to being accepted; all you need to do is look around. I would suggest the lord of the craft wiki and application submissions section of the forums to start off your little quest to make the best application. Good luck!

The reasons that I have denied you are:

RPGs or Role-Playing Games are not RP’s.

Games such as World of Warcraft, Skyrim, Rift or similar do not count as Roleplaying as there is no person to person interaction within a Roleplaying scenario (unless of course you were on a Roleplaying server in which you need to explain where and how you role-played to show your understanding of the term).

Your definition of power-gaming is incorrect.

In lord of the craft we use an RP definition of power-gaming, rather than an RPG definition. While these may seem like the same thing, we can loosely judge that an RPG definition would fit in with games such as World of Warcraft or Skyrim, and the RP definition would fit in with games such as D&D or other person to person Roleplaying. Please do not confuse the definition we use to the definition that other Roleplaying groups may use, relating to creating a character which is too powerful, or doing an “overpowered” action; this is not the definition we use. To make sure you have the correct definition you can either have a look at the Lord of the Craft wiki, or by joining our Team Speak channel (send me a message if you need help getting started) and asking an experienced member. I would also like you to include an example of the term as it demonstrates your understanding of the concept.

Your definition of meta-gaming is incorrect.

There are very few definitions of meta-gaming so it would be rare that you could confuse meta-gaming with another term. I would suggest that you go back to researching (or perhaps begin to research if you guessed the definition) and find out a correct definition pertaining to Roleplaying. I suggest that you do a Google search for the term, look on the Lord of the Craft wiki or join our Team Speak channel. Please do remember that plagiarising (copying someone else’s work) may warrant you a temporary or permanent ban from applying to the server: so don’t do it! I would also like you to include an example of the term as it demonstrates your understanding of the concept.

You cannot be ascended.

Asulon is set in a completely different universe to real life. It seems you have tried to merge assassins creed with some fantasy game, this is not how it works. Read up on the lore, write a correct biography then re-apply.

Your ambitions are underdeveloped.

You need to show some advanced thought processes. What would your character like to do in the near and distant futures? What is your character planning? You also need to justify your decisions. Why does your character want to do this? Things such as planning to kill all bandits, orcs, humans etc. are unacceptable ambitions as this would require a villainous activity.

Your answers to the favourite tool/best skill questions are underdeveloped.

You need to justify why you have chosen the choices you have. It is all well and good that your character can run really fast, or is light on their feet; but why?

You need to embed the screenshot of your skin.

For me to accept you I must be able to view your skin as I need to judge whether it is acceptable for this server, reason being if someone joins this server, but do not show their skin but they have a Tron skin on I would be in big trouble, but for me to be able to view your skin it must also be embedded. The reason your skin needs to be embedded is because recently people have been linking some dangerous websites to where the image of their skin has been hosted. To avoid this we request that the image is directly linked to this website either as an upload or being embedded into the post itself. You can do this by following this tutorial:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.

4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application

Some or all of your answers to the Open Response questions need a lot of improvement.

Instead of describing what your character would do, you need to assume that your character is in the situation and acting as they would in that situation. You need to describe a scene of RP. This means that you cannot write “If this happens, then my character would do that.” As this shows that you are not Roleplaying, you are answering the question from what you think that your character might do. You need to show us that you know who your character is, you know what the situation is and you know how your character is going to react.

This also means that you need to write in full RP. For example:

Josh talks to the shopkeeper, buys a few apples, pays the shop keeper and leaves. X BAD

Josh walks up to the man standing behind the rough oaken market stand. The sounds of a busy market can be heard all around him. An annoying fly buzzes around his head, so he absent-mindedly begins to inefficiently swat it away. “Ah, greetings shopkeeper! I was just browsing your wares.” The shopkeeper nods at Josh and then turns towards another customer to attempt to assist them the way all market shopkeepers must. Suddenly Josh felt a slight tugging sensation on his belt. He was about to brush it off as nothing, perhaps just someone bumping into him until he realised his belt was slightly lighter. He noticed a man beginning to run off in the opposite direction of himself. He glanced down to see that his coin purse was missing. He put two and two together and then shouted at the top of his lungs. “STOP THEIF!”… √ GOOD!
