Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am fairly new to minecraft, although I have learned things fast. I’m more of an academic person than a person that does a lot of sport. I also love RPG as it gives you an opportunity to let your imagination run wild.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I’m not sure, it would vary between weeks because I have school, so I would say an average of 15 hours, until my schedule frees up a bit.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is changing your actions to be able to fill out the role of another person, such as a character. When someone is roleplaying, they are changing their acts to fill out the role of someone, such as a king, you couldn’t just act like yourself and say you are a king, you have to act as a king would, you would be roleplaying as a king if you did act as if you were a king. When in role-play you can’t just suddenly change the personality of that person to suit you, because then you wouldn’t be roleplaying properly as that character. Roleplaying a character uses imagination and can be really fun if you get into the spirit of it. Role-playing games (RPG’s) are games that require some amount of role-play as you play as another person that is not yourself.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I haven’t had much experience in roleplaying in minecraft, besides a server called Dalasia. I have had experience in playing roles in other games such as skyrim and other RPG’s.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta- gaming is basically using information IC that that character would not normally know, such as having your character say something that he/she doesn’t know, for example : Two people are talking about the weaknesses of enemies while out of character, and apply that weakness while in character (IC) even though the character does not know the weakness of the enemy. Another example of meta-gaming is when you have played a character previously, and take knowledge from your old character, and while IC in your latest character, make use of your old characters knowledge, of which your new character does not know. Meta-gaming should not be used when roleplaying because it kind-of wrecks the role-play by making a character do something that is out of character, as they should not know of the information they are applying in game.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power gaming is when a person role-plays things that are normally impossible to do in role-play, a power-gamer is a player that says that their action was successful, and don’t give the other player the chance to act on their own rights, like saying *He threw a knife at the elf, killing the elf*This is seen as power-gaming because the elf/another player does not get a chance to react. A person is also seen as a power gamer if they force other players to do role-play that they don’t want to, but the action that the power-gamer has done requires them to play along, for example- * bandit: binds a civilian and throws him into a deep pit* In this example the bandit is power gaming because he forced the civilian to play along with his actions by saying that he has bound the civilian, thus not giving him/her a chance to react

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I believe that LOTC will be a fun RPG server that I will be able to fully enjoy for a long time

Dalasia server – I haven’t stopped playing on it as of yet, as I find it fun. DeServer Factions and PvP- I haven’t left it either, as I am an admin on the server and am usually like to help out

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Loki is at present 22 years old, he is obsessed with the ideas of Aengul and Daemon races of old times, and has driven himself insane trying to find these creatures, he dresses in the clothing of a court jester, believing it will lead the servants of god to notice him and show themselves. He remains relatively sane when working or socializing with the other people of asulon, and goes mad when seeing one of the objects that the old civilizations are believed to manifest as. Besides the insanity, he is a mischievous yet loyal person; he can be skillful in sneaking if he is needed to be, and also a skilled warrior with a bow or dagger of some sort.

He appears as having a white face and red eyes, due to his outfit which is green and black, with purple add ons, he looks like he should be at a town celebration, and refuses completely to take the garment off, as he has grown accustom to it. Loki keeps a weapon with him at all times, often hidden away within his clothing, so as to not be noticed or make people scared. Loki is a small bit taller than average humans, and is

Loki’s life began in a small cave in asulon’s wilds where he was abandoned; he was found and raised by a travelling merchant. The merchant taught him how to move stealthily from his experience with the trade caravans, the merchant described the people who had taught him this skill as not seeming very trustworthy. In his teens Loki bid goodbye to his ‘father’ and left in search of his own home and education. He moved to a small town, known as Shadowvale, there he learnt of the Aengul and daemon, as told by an outcast he met in the town. He was instantly fascinated by the subject of these creatures, and then decided he would learn more, and search for one. A few years later he went mad with the concept, wore a jester’s outfit and was claimed a lunatic by most citizens. He was a good entertainer and played with local children, often told to stay away by their parents. He had a loving soul and was a loyal figure, but was shunned for his ambitions. So, by the time of his 22nd birthday, celebrated in Shadowvale tavern, he decided to give in to the search of the Servants of god, and made it his first priority, besides living of course as he would still continue to be a well-known citizen of the village, mostly not for the right reasons. So he then put more time into his work, and made income from what he could find in the wilds. And that is where his story stops for the moment, until time passes.

What are your Character’s ambitions?:

To search for the ancient Aengul and Daemon races, and to be blessed by these creatures

what is your character’s favorite tool? (Sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc.):

Sword/dagger or a bow as he believes that one can never know what to expect.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

He can be very stealthy when needed be, such as sneaking into a cave filled with those of the undead. He is a good marksman, with throwing weapons and bows and is also quite swift and agile.

He doesn’t have a true home, but mostly stays in Shadowvale

He may change outfit color from time to time (not sure if this is alright with you guys-just tell me if it isn't, because I want to know if I could change the color of my skin, such as from green to blue etc.)

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Loki responds by asking the warriors why they are stealing the money from the Halfling, they seem to respond aggressively, and push the Halfling to the ground, hurting him in the process. Loki runs to the aid of the smaller being while telling the warriors to leave, as he doesn’t want to hurt them. With that the armed men run at Loki. He sighs then pulls a small dagger from his pocket. Loki then throws the dagger at one of the men, hitting him in the knee, and causing him unable to run much further without falling over in pain. At seeing this, the other man backs up, looking like he is about to turn and run in fear of ending up on the ground like his companion. Loki then walks up to the injured man, taking the knife from his leg, and helping him up, as he sees that they know fighting him would not go well. Loki leaves the men to travel back along the road, and turns to the Halfling. Loki helps up the small fellow and takes a small patch of wool from his right hand pocket to clean up a wound inflicted to the Halfling when hitting the ground. The Halfling responds gratefully, giving Loki a few coins from his pouch, of which the men were trying to take, before walking down the road.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Loki asks the merchant if he has any rare materials. The merchant then shakes his head, as if wishing he did and said to Loki that he only sold that what he could find. Loki sees that the man may actually have some things that may be of use to him, for protection and building, and possibly exploring the wilds. Loki buys quite a lot of materials and weapons from the merchant’s wares, which brought a wide smile across the face of the merchant. Loki then turned to leave the rather giddy merchant and see the sights of Alras while trying to find some more stalls such as the one with the man in the fine clothes behind it.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Loki looks to see if there are any signs of someone living in the cottage. There appears not to be as there is a distinct smell of rotting flesh in the air, and rotten limbs scattered across the floor. Loki assumes that this is due to vermin that make their homes in the cottage so he leaves the body parts where they are, and turns back to the chest. The golden sword is in terrible condition, and Loki believes he won’t need it as he has a small iron sword and a bow in his possession. He leaves the sword in its place in the chest, and takes the iron bars, Loki takes a last glance at the scattered limbs and is not sure of how the body became to be deceased, be it murder of natural causes. Loki then turns and walks out of the hut, leaving one iron bar just inside the huts doorway as he thought that maybe someone may actually live in that place…though he highly doubted it.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, and how do you respond?

I ask them if they have any spare supplies, and if I could stay there for the night. I tell them I have been travelling in search of ancient races, and have lost my way. I hope that they didn’t think I was a lunatic for being out here for that reason, and say I will pay them for their wares and the bed for the night. They agree and point me to a spot just outside the camp, saying that they will bring my supplies later. I pick up a flint from the ground, and use it to make a flint and steel from some iron I have in my pocket, I position myself just outside the camp, and later get some food and supplies from the merchants, in the morning I thank them and gave them as much coin as was needed and they headed off to their next destination. I pick up the remaining supplies and began to walk along the path, using their maps to find my way back to Shadowvale.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guards have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I apply for the job, asking the guards if I could have a party to cover me while I was sneaking to the rear of the bandit’s defenses, being able to surprise the bandits and draw attention away from the town, so that the guards have time to reinforce the town gates. The guards agree to my request, and begin to reinforce the gates as soon as I leave. The men that are accompanying me create a distraction outside the camp while I sneak around to the back of their settlement, which is not very well guarded. I hear the guards talking about a raid on the town and I decide to make sure they don’t get that opportunity. I use a small dagger in my sleeve to silently take down the men on guard by , and decide to wait in the midst of the camp, taking weapons from their armory while on my way the center of the camp. Once outside the armory, now equipped with an iron sword, leather armor and a bow with some arrows, I climb on top of the armory tent and sit there until the bandits are ready to make an attack on the town. I look and see that there are no guards approaching the camp, so I assume that the town is not yet reinforced. I take my bow and aim at a man in the center of the crowd, and shoot him in the back. This causes a large arousal in the camp, and allows the guard some more time before the bandits attack. After the commotion settles I see the guard attacking the bandits and join in with my dagger and iron sword. I take down as many bandits as I possibly can with the weapons I have. The guards of the town overwhelm the bandits and win the battle. I then collect my reward after the battle as the bandits had been eliminated. I then leave the town and went back to my home in Shadowvale.

Sadly, psychopathy requires a villain application. I praise your wordplay and ability to write, but there must be character development In-Game to show your ability to be entrusted to such a difficult thing to roleplay. Please revise this to exclude any bouts of psycopathy, but you are allowed to have some hints of emerging psychopathy.
