He grabbed all of his stuff, his good old hammer, which was given to him by his father, and ran off to the boats, getting a place on them in time. One day he made himself a flute, which he is often playing while he is walking on the roads and sometimes he is using it to entertain the people around him. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Goram walks up to the three men and his eyes widen as he sees that the two warriors are beating the small halfling. "Oi!Why are you harassing that poor lad?", says Goram causing both of the men to look at him. "I guess because we do not like such undersized scums like this one here...and you...", says one of the men angryly. Goram frowns and grumbles, "You think you can threaten me because I am smaller than you?The air up there must be very thin...must have damaged your brains." One of the men walks up to Goram, his face red in anger. He attempts to kick Goram but he dodges and grabs his hammer from his belt, swining it right between the man's legs. "Get down here, fool!", says Goram loudly and chuckles. The man caughs in pain and the other man draws his blade, charging at Goram. Goram dodges again but he is not fast enough and so the blade cuts into the plate that is protecting his shoulder, causing him to growl and fall to the side. "Oi,lads! We could need some help here!", shouts Goram as the second man gets back to his feet and some people begin to gather around them. Some of the people step closer and draw their blades. The two warrios look around, seeing all the blades pointing at them and back away slowls. One very large man steps into their direction quickly and the two warriors run off, leaving some laughing people and Goram, who is laughing but holding his shoulder carefully. Goram walks up to the halfling and helps him to stand up,smiling at the small lad encouraging. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Goram looks at all the wares, smiling brightly and answering in a very polite way,"Well,do you happen to sell any minerals, dear lad?Or maybe some books or papers that could teach me something about smithing?" The man frowns, then he nods slowly, the smile returning to his face. "Oh,yes I indeed do", says the man and pulls a few gold ingots out of his wares, reaching for a small book as well, "These ingots are of very good quality and the book is a very nice one as well...I am unsure but I think it shows many recipes about smithing...got it from an old dwarven smith who needed some food." Goram takes the ingots and the book and takes a close look at both, nodding with a bright smile. "Alright I'll take all of it!How much Minas would you want for them all?" The man frowns again, thinking for some time then he names his price, "I think one thousand Minas should be enough." Goram nods once more, "Aye,that's a good price for those things." He reaches into his pocket and pulls a large bag of minas out of it,carefully handing it over to the man,who takes it with a smile. Goram stores all the items in his bag and nods at the man once again, the smile still on his face. "Thank you, dear lad.I will visit you again when I leave the town again.Maybe you got some more ingots until I come back!", says Goram, walking off. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Goram knocks at the door and frowns at the door swing open, showing a shabby room behind of it.He steps in carefully and sees a chest standing right at the wall. He thinks for a moment and then walks up to the chest, opening it slowly. He bends down and sees the ingots and the golden sword inside of it,slowly stroking over the metal. Goram sighs and stands up again, sighing. "What a shame to leave such nice metal in a ruin...", says Goram sadly, "But I would be very sad if someone stole my minerals as well." With these words,Goram leaves the hut and closes the door behind him, making sure it is realy closed and walks on. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Goram sees a light between the forests and hurries to get there as fast as possible. He runs into the camp and sees several people sitting around a fireplace and bows deeply as they greet him. "Hello, dear people!", says Goram as he smiles at all of them, "Would there be any space for a hungry and lost dwarf in your camp?Maybe for one single night?" The leader of the people smiles back at him and nods. "Yes,I think you can stay with us for a night, master dwarf.", says the man and Goram bows one more time, sitting down at the fireplace. "Too friendly, dear man!",says Goram and looks at all the other persons, seeing some women and children there as well. He spends the evening at the fireplace, laughing with the others and telling stories. He sometimes even plays his flute for the children and as the sun rises, they give him some bread and Goram leaves them, waving back at them as he walks off. "Hello, dear men!Is anything wrong or why are there so many of you here at the gate, all armored?" One guard looks at Goram and nods. "Aye,there are bandits down the road and we are just about to leave to get rid of them." Goram looks out of the gate and frowns. "Oh dear....this is the way I have to go.Are you sure you can get the road safe again?", asks Goram and the guard nods. "Good...", says Goram, "I think I'll follow you and help you,if I am able to" The guard nods once more and the commander gives the command to atack. The all run down the road and soon they see the bandits. A long battle begins in which Goram stays in the background. One time,he uses his hammer to hit a bandit off from one of the guards, who fell to the ground, helping him up to his feet again. After several minutes, the battle is over and the bandits that are left run off into the woods. Goram helps the guards to carry the wounded ones back and stays for one more day, repairing the guards' armors and is rewarded with some Minas and the friendship of the guard, that he saved.
