99centRICE

How old are you?:

14

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:

Pacific standard time/U.S.A (United States)

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

Yes, very.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

Well, I am a little off and oddball I guess. I like having people laugh, making people laugh, doesn’t really matter as long as everyone is happy. I get annoyed by a few things such as being asked stupid questions, having people ruin good fun, and when people talk way too much. I am a little condescending (unintentionally) and I have a really well temper. But when I get mad, I don’t, I get furious.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Depends, on average I would say a total of 49-56 hours

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

What I know? it’s to have a purpose in a specific game to have a kick of a time. I know role-playing games have many forms but most are typically during the middle (dark) ages. I would say roleplaying is like a make believe life to enjoy so you can escape the one you have.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

Played runescape, (they ruined it now) use to play world of war craft (I was terrible at it), and that’s about it.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-gaming would be using any unknown knowledge to the character to an advantage.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:

Power emoting is using words to describe an unrealistic or unfair action to another player which he must then follow. What do you expect this server will be like?:

Hopefully, very nice and organized with rules to be enforced by the admin(s) and his helper(s)

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I do not remember the name of one, but I had left because there were just not enough people. As for the other, it was a .otx server and I left because the rules were not enforced and everything was just hectic.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

Yes.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules:

Yes.

How did you hear about us?:

A friend of mine plays on the server and he told me about it.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:

No.

Character Name:

Locaha (Low-kay-haw)

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) :

Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I grew up in a small town far of in a new settlement, far away from the beginning of people, I was born from my father, Mau, and my mother Lily. They gave me the name of Locaha. My father had always told me manners are what made a man. Being well behaved became second nature. Though, he wasn’t always present. He was often of in the forest helping keeping guard. He was a knight, a forgotten one at that, and he never was given the respect he deserved. He and my mother were sent with the rest of the settlers to claim the land, why, I never knew until I finally came back to the main land. My father died when I was only nine, he was stopping an attack from orcs that were in a nearby encampment. My sibling died at young ages, each from the work of demons making them ill. I was left with my mother for quite some time, but she too was taken from me. So I fended for myself at the age of fifteen.

I survived by doing many jobs and living on little. But what I learned after a while is that each new job I obtained and mastered gave me a new skill. The priests gave me fundamentalism, and the huntsmen of my town gave me the ability to be an expert archer, and as for the blacksmith, that gave me swordsmanship. Now with my new set of skills I collected over the years I decided to set off on my own.

Though, before I had left I stumbled on why we were there, why we were sent to settle there. Underground in the forbidden chamber were some tablets. They had a set of rules and knowledge written in a language I could not understand. There were gilded in gold and written on iron. I stumbled on this because I was sent under the church to get supplies, and this room was left unattended. The temptation was too hard to resist. I brought shame upon myself and my family’s name. I had too, I wanted too before I left. Next to the tablets were books each containing information, rules, we had to follow. They were not like what the rules we were taught in church. They were special. One specific was that I remember was that a village had to be placed atop the chamber and had to contain specific people. There was something else, but I had to leave for people were coming. And with that, I left.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

First try a diplomatic solution, if this doesn’t work then (depending on the distance between us) I would pull out either a sword or my trusty bow and arrow and face them. If I succeed then I would return the money back to the fellow man/woman and keep the armor for myself. If they have anything else, sell it.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

“Hello sir, I am here to purchase some more arrows, and what is the recent news around this town?” and exchange him money for arrows while asking for any adventures or quest for me to go on. Hopefully showing my respect to the town and people.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Simple, reside in it for a day and if no one claim it RIGHTFULLY theirs, then I take it for myself. I would use the things inside to my basic needs, what is un-needed would be sold.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

“why hello to you too, got a cup of rum fellow? Been needin’ some fo’ quite some time now.” And of course, offer them some gifts for their hospitality. if I have any. Then stay overnight and ask for assistance to the nearest town as well as my current location. In return I would show common courtesy and help around if needed. Probably would stay for a little too just have a good time the folk.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guards have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offers their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Take the chance to help the guards accomplish the task, why not? A little adventure never hurt anyone! *hardy laugh* and for the reward, might as well take it. Then when the mission starts I would be the search and bait of the mission, slowing going through the road waiting to see them. When they appeard signaling the nearby guard to jump in and lay them to rest.
