Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am just a small town boy who loves LotC. I am often on my laptop and I am often playing Minecraft.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I can be on everyday of the week for extended periods of time.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is one one person takes on the role of a character and acts or plays as that person as if he were real.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I have had a pass account on the server but it was hacked. I often play WoW and Skyrim. I have the speech down pretty well.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is when one player uses a external force to affect Roleplay

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Power-Emoting is when a player does not give another player enough room to counter-emote.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I have prior knowledge of this server. It is a amazing server with a huge and very active community.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on many small servers and I left them because there were no set in stone rules. People could do as they like. I love how people often respect the rules of LotC.

Character Name: Vaerath Longwind

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Elf.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Vaerath is half High Elf and half Wood Elf.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Vaerath was always a young soul, he loved to play in the forest near his home in Riverwood. His father was always at war or in Normandor. His mother was a small High Elf. He always wonder why she acted different from the Wood Elves of his town. As he grew older he started to wield a sword. He was very good with the sword. He was a very powerful swordsman wielding iron swords as a infant. He loved to fight beside his father. Which was rare because they were often apart. One early morning Vaerath was out at his fathers farm getting melons. He heard a loud scream come from the town square. He grabbed his sword from the fence and sprinted towards the scream. He soon arrived to see three men attacking his mother. They were not armored and were only armed with knives. Vaerath charged the attackers tackling one and knocking him senseless. The other two Kept pressing his mother against the post not bothered by the young 15 year old elf. Vaerath screamed, trying to get their attention. The other towns people locked there doors and stayed away from the windows. It was not often bandits raided Riverwood. Vaerath knew he was the only one who could help her. His father was gone and he was the only one willing to fight. As Vaerath screamed and screamed they started to pay a little attention to him. The bandits left his mother laying on the ground, crying. Vaerath charged once again his sword drawn. He jumped and kicked one of them men in his chest, causing him to fall to the ground gasping for air. He then beat him over the head with the grip of his sword. The last bandit was a bit drunk he stumbled over and fell. Vaerath walked over to Hurt him but he was fast asleep. Vaerath then sprinted to his crying mother. She had cuts on her arms and face, she was bleeding very bad. Vaerath soon noticed A gash in her dress with a crimson circle around it. He picked her up and charged her home. He laid her on the bed and started to patch her up. He was skilled with patchung up wounds because he often injured himself while training. His mother was never the same after that day. She was always sad.

Vaerath's father Elros Longwind was a Guard of Normandor. He wasn't honored nor was he respected, but he felt it was his duty to serve. He was killed by camel bandits. He was defending a royal girl. He took an arrow in his left eye. He was then slashed in the head with an axe. When Vaerath heard of the death of his father he left Riverwood and traveled to Normandor. His mother died shortly after his departure.

Vaerath finished growing up in Normandor. Fighting along side his cousin Darion who was High Commander of the guard. Darion did not treat him well. Darion often abused Vaerath and used him for bait. The His fellow guardsmen hated his recklessness. He soon grew a hatred for all of them. He was 23 years old and was filled with hate. He hated his cousin, his fellow guardsmen, Orcs and Humans. He left the guard but stayed in Normandor. He took a young Guard to train. He became a teacher of the arts of battle at only the age of 26, By this time he was skilled enough with the blade he could kill almost anyone. He now lives in Normandor, waiting for his time. His time to strike at his enemies. His student was with him. Many were against the pair but they did not care.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Vaerath wants to gain a powerful position and be respected by all.

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Vaerath who has been picked on his whole life puts on his armor and draws his sword. He then approaches the group weapon in a relaxed position. Vaerath taps on the shoulder of one of the warriors.

"What are you doing with the halfing?" Vaerath asks.

"Mind your own business Elf." Shouts one of the men.

"You see I can not let you rob him" Vaerath says grabbing the shoulder of one of the men and ripping the man towards himself. Vaerath holds his sword to the throat of the warrior.

"You touch that halfing it will be the last thing you ever do?" Vaerath says Griting his teeth, spit coming from his mouth. The other warrior draws his blade, he raises his free hand in a attempt to calm Vaerath down.

"Let him go or you will die" the warriors says trembling.

"What are you scared of bandit? Have you never been threatened?" Vaerath says laughing. Vaerath adds a little pressure to the blade at the mans neck drawing his knife in his other hand.

"This is your last chance." Vaerath said.

"Try me" The bandit snarles. Vaerath then shoves the captive bandit into the other man.

"Run Hafling run" Vaerath shouts as he sheaths his weapons and sprints to away.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Vaerath leaves the items in the chest. He often returns to make sure everything is safe. Vaerath is very protective and would hate for someone to get robbed.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Vaerath is short on cash and needs the money. He decides to join them and help kill the bandits.

"How much money will I gain from this?" Vaerath asked. He was always worried about money.

"Depends on how many you kill" The commander said. Vaerath laughed remembering the times when he fought bandits to protect people.
