I am on Mountain Time and live in the United States of America.

I have a solid grasp of the English language. I spell well, use good grammar, punctuate well, and have straight A’s to prove it. I think you’ll agree with me after reading this application.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am, first and foremost, a Christian. My hobbies include videogames and golf, and I play baseball with a local high school. I have been homeschooled since first grade.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I could probably spend 2-8 hours on the server weekly, but it really depends on the week and whether it’s the school year or the summer.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is when you act as a character and play his part in a community.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have had no experience in Roleplaying, but I like contributing to a community and can’t stand servers that allow Power-Gaming.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is like identity theft, or trading on inside information in the stock market. It’s when you take information you learned out-of-character and use it in-character, or vice-versa.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power-Gaming is attacking someone without giving them a chance to retaliate.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect that this server will be like the medieval world of c. 1000 years ago and, of course, the world in the Lord of the Rings created by Tolkien. I have read the trilogy twice.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on several servers that my friends created and PurePvP. I haven’t technically left those servers, and still get on every once in a while, but I despise the Power-Gaming that goes on in PurePvP and would spend much, much more time on Lord of the Craft.

Yes, I have.

My name is Agrodo Pickins.

I am in the human Race.

I am in the Halfling Sub-Race.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I am Agrodo Pickins. I am thirty-three, the time of life when a Halfling comes of age. I’m stronger than most Halflings, but I have their same jolly, hairy, young, and laid back appearance. I have brown hair

My parents are both Halflings, but I think my father’s ancestry has some Dwarven blood mixed in it, since I have inherited a love of mining. Both were traveling the world when they met, and when they married they settled down in the Vale having just got off the boats that brought them from Agis, this is where they begat me, I lived there my whole life. It was a pleasant childhood I swam in the creek fished, farmed, drank ale, and to the surprise of my family I dug caves and was very precocious. But when my thirty-third birthday came around I decided it was time to explore the world because I am very adventurous. My family was very confused cause as you know Halflings are the sort of folk that stay home farm and drink ale. I journeyed and journeyed, but right when I was becoming tired of my expedition I found myself in the Great city of Arethor.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

It is my life philosophy that no Halfling should go hungry, but I enjoy mining as a hobby.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

My favorite tools are the hoe and the pickaxe.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

My character is best at farming, but he is a natural at mining as well.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

My character would respond courageously, but also prudently. He would first ask the guards what their business with the Halfling is about and try to bring about a peaceful solution. If not he would try to distract them by hitting on of the warriors with his walking stick and give the small Halfling a chance to get away while losing the warriors because of his expert running skills.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

First, I respond “Good Day” then ask him what he is selling if he is selling certain wares such as wool or spider eye I kindly decline, bidding him good day and leaving on my way. But if he has need supplies such as food, or coal I ask him his price and depending on that price either buy from him or decline to go find a better price.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

My character would respond by posting a sign by the hut asking if it is inhabited, waiting for a few days for a response, and acting according to the response, if given. If no response is given, he will not remove anything from the hut.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

I greet them asking them what race or city that they come from and have a polite conversation with them. I then ask kindly if I can either trade or buy food from them. Once I have gotten some food I ask where I was if they perchance knew and ask for directions to the nearest main road and or the direction I could head for to get Arethor.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

My character would not join the guard to help in the fighting but he would give his services to the mayor in the realm of cooking for the guards. He would give his services because a Halfling he believes in the enjoyment of life through freedom, liberty, and happiness. When the battle is over he would happily gather his reward and be on his way to Arethor singing his favorite song loudly.
