How old are you?: I am a 17 year old human teenager.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Puerto Rico is my home and it is in the Atlantic time zone.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, even if it is my second language I actually know more English than Spanish (my first language).

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am what some may call a perhaps stoic personality but that is just because I rarely show any facial expression, but I am not stoic though. War history is the theme that interests me the most, especially ancient history because of how fascinating and diverse all those ancient cultures were. I love to think of the future, of what I will be and what I will do that will affect all those around me. I wish to be a very successful film director like Stanley Kubrick and Paul Thomas Anderson because film (to me) is the most entertaining type of art there is. I am also an introvert, I think first and talk later. My MBTI test results came out as INTJ.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Probably about 14 hours. I go to the gym, watch movies from time to time, learn how to drive and talk to a few of my friends so I would probably be playing a couple of hours or more each day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: For me, roleplaying is playing or pretending to be a character by taking control of it. You get to make decisions for him and make the character whatever you want him to be in the it's world.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: My first roleplaying game was probably Pokemon (I think it is roleplaying), then breath of fire II, Neverwinter Nights, Titan Quest, Fable II, The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Mass Effect Trilogy, The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, Ark the Lad, Neverwinter Nights 2, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and Fable III. Maybe I left some out but I think this is enough.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: It is using any knowledge that the character you are using is not meant to be aware of. Its like watching your partner's screen in split screen to know where he is or maybe the character does not know about the power of explosions but you do and somehow take that knowledge to your advantage. It kinda(a little bit) the roleplaying experience for me because then you are not being the character, its like your character somehow just knows these things.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: It is writing about an action you did and the results of such action, usually on another player. For example I write "Adolf Hitler wins WWII" or "Conan spits on Sabutae's face" but it does not happen. It's frustrating sometimes because I do not have the freedom to take any action on it if I am being emoted on. But it's best to emote attempts rather than finished actions so the other player can have a chance to evade the action like "Herman swings his sword towards Helen" then the other player can write "Helen blocks Herman's sword with her shield." That way there is less unjust action.

In your own Words, define what Out of Character (OOC) is: It is doing or saying things that your character would not probably or never do. An example would be playing as a honorable and reasonable lord and then you decide that he should sack villages just for the fun of it. It could also mean that you are playing a roleplaying game of WWII online and decide to talk about things that the characters in the game are not related to, like talking about the next elder scrolls game or if Jeremy Lin would get another chance for glory.

In your own Words, define what In Character (IC) is: It is the total opposite of Out of character. When you play as a character and do what such character would do or probably do, it is in character. Talking in an MMORPG only about stuff that your character knows and would say means that he is staying in character and is more believable as a character then.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I think it will probably be like an action-adventure rpg online game. Probably similar to the Lord of the Rings world where there will be different nations, guilds, races and a lot of cool and diverse content. I hope that the people playing stay in character for that is why I wish for in an online RPG.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played in a few servers which names I do not recall. I left because there was never anyone online and if there were, they were very few.

How did you hear about us?: My brother plays this game and it has been a long time since I played minecraft. He knows I love RPG adventure games so he convinced me to apply.

In-Character:

Character Name: His first name is Storond, his stronghold name is Grandaxe. His father, Ovum Grandaxe, chose the name Storond because his wife's father name is Storond.

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : I am a proud Dwarf. Warlike and loyal to their kin fits my personality. They are very untrustworthy to strangers and generous to their friends. It seems like the most interesting race to me.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): The Mountain Dwarf sub-race. I love mountains, especially ones with snow and cold wind. Don't think that is the only reason why I chose mountain dwarf, I chose them because of the mountain and the +30 axe skill.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Storond Grandaxe born in Asulon, son of Ovum Grandaxe (he was Blackaxe before the merging of Blackaxe and Braveaxe) is the second born, his firstborn brother called Doril Grandaxe. He is of very light tone, blue eyes, light brown hair (rare for a mountain dwarf), strong muscles (especially shoulders) and quite tall for a dwarf. Storond is known for his arrogance and seriousness, he never smiles or frowns and prides himself because he knows he is very strong willed and smart. He reads a lot of war strategy theories to better himself for his ultimate goal. He does not drink and it has gotten many people harassing him because in a dwarf society, not drinking makes you weak. Storond is not very social for he found more excitement in watching battles and fights rather than speaking with people about them. He is a perfectionist in things that interest him like chess and debates, he always comes prepared. His father afforded him a good education and so he is usually decent with people, unless they say or do something stupid.

His mother died in childbirth and his father was a very well respected general of the the Dwarven Kingdom for he won many battles against the Dwarven-Orc war in Asulon. Storond accompanied his father in his military campaigns since he was a small Dwarven child and at the age of 100 seasons (still a dwarf child in that age) he told his father that he wanted to become a general too. His father took him that night to the forest in which Storond would have to kill an orc and he would have to make an oath in which he will dedicate his life to destroy the The War Uzg. Storond killed the harmless orc with his father's axe and swore to his father in this words "When I come to age, I shall pursue the Orcs with fire and sword and enact again the doom of Aegis. The gods shall not stop my career, nor the treaty that bars the sword, neither the Wilds nor the armies of the Holy Oren Empire. I swear to this purpose by the divinity of our native god of war."

While travelling with his father and brother to attack an orc village, some of his men assassinated his father and brother. He does not know why they killed them to this moment but he believes they were bribed by the orc elders. Storond escaped the traitors and hid in the woods for a week surviving on the nearby lake and mushrooms. He returned to the place were they had camped a week ago, the rotting corpses of his father and brother still there, the army had moved on. Storond buried them and after that day, Storond wandered from village to village relying on the generous help of the human people.

25 years later, now that he is 200 seasons old (dwarf adult) Storond decides it is time to fulfill his oath and begins his journey to the Dwarven Kingdom in which he will look to join the Legion and eventually lead it to destroy The War Uzg once and for all. It will be strange seeing a dwarven face for he has not seen one since his brother and father.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Storond wishes to lead a powerful army to destroy The War Uzg. After that, he does not know.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): In honor of his father, he uses his father's axe to slay those who will oppose his duty. The axe is the favorite weapon of the mountain dwarves and his favorite weapon because he was trained as a small child to use it and has used it this past 25 years.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Axemastery, Blacksmithing and Lumbejack. But his most skilled talent is definitely Axemastery for his history with his father's axe.

Other Information about your Character:

He constantly has dreams about fulfilling his oath with his father and brother smiling upon him, but sometimes when he doubts himself, he has nightmares in which forgets about his oath and his father and brother look down upon him in disappointment for not even trying.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? (In my mind)"I am too occupied with completing my oath that I do not have the time to deal with this. Unless the halfling was any use to me, I will not do anything to stop the guards." (Walk faster trying to avoid trouble with the law)

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"Yes, are you by any chance selling a complete map of Asulon?" the merchant says yes and shows me a map to every location in Asulon "Good, may you please show me our current location and the location of Kal'Domhain?" the merchant points to both locations "Thank you sir" (I give him the money, take the map with me and continue my journey)

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: (In my mind) "Either this chest was abandoned or it is a trap" (I take a good look at that chest and see the trigger to a trap) (In mind) "The one who made that trap is either dead or observing me. I will not take the risk." (Walks away continuing the journey)

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

"Good day to you too" (they offer me food, water and shelter for the night, I accept the food and water but refuse the shelter) "Yes thank you very much but I'm afraid I must continue my travels for it is still broad daylight" (I give them my thanks for their kindness and continue)

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

"I volunteer" (the reward will help me, I can put my axe arm to some use and make some friends here in the town guard in which I could ask for volunteers too when I command an army) "Sir may I offer my advice" (guard captain agrees) "We should attack their camp at night ambushing from all sides. It will take them by surprise and will not let anyone escape." (guard captain follows my plan through and we come back with the heads of the bandits. Captain pays me my reward and wishes me good luck on whatever I am doing)

If I am accepted, I would do the best that I can to make this server more fun by all the things I will be making. I will stay in character always and I have read the lore of the Dwarves and hopefully have time to read more of everything. If I am accepted, it would be the first time I would play an ORPG. But I have a question. In the dwarf lore it says that the Blackaxe and Braveaxe clans merged to create the Grandaxe clan but in the LOTC wiki says that there exists a Noble house called the Blackaxes. Doesn't that mean that the Grandaxes do not exist and that the Blackaxes and Braveaxes did not merge? Please help me resolve this confusion.
