He is dressed in rags, is about 6 feet tall, and has a short-cut, brown beard. When he sees you he says* "What? You want to know my life story? BAH! Begone! I will not share it with the likes of you!" You get confused quickly. You only wanted to buy some bread! Are you still here? *sighs* Fine I’ll tell you my story. I was born 22 years ago, to a very poor family in solace. I had one brother, but I do not know who he is or where he is. The only food we ever saw was from our tiny 3x3 farm. It was the farm that was 3x3, not the land. The land was bigger, but not big enough to give any more land to the farm. My parents died eight years ago from hunger, and my brother fled. I suspect he was killed by monsters, as I never heard anything about him again. I was left alone to live off my small plot of land. Let’s see here, what was the next part? Ah yes, now I remember. But then again, I can never forget. You would think it would be easy to live off 3x3 farm with only one person. But it only got harder. My land was ransacked by bandits after Salvus fell to Renatus. They saw my parents were gone, and saw that that I had no means to protect myself. I tried to repel the attack, but you cannot repel an attack by armed men with a stone hoe. They were simply too powerful. I more than wished I was able to fight them off. Maybe if I had some battle training and a sword I may have been able to, but we were too poor to afford either of them. I fled as they burned the house down, arrows hitting mere inches away from me. They were like streaks of light. Having no home, I took up a nomadic lifestyle. I lived off the land, something I was used to. Almost always I had to eat raw mushrooms. I nearly died many times to the poisonous red mushrooms. I should have been killed many times by them, but I didn't. I would rejoice at the sight of any animal, and would normally eat the food raw, since I had no means for fire. I am more than lucky for not dieing from the raw food. I managed to find my way to Arethor, and that is where I now reside. There you happy now? No? Too bad! Now get, I have a farm to tend to! *He waves toward the door, motioning you to leave.* You leave quickly, wonder how the heck you got dragged into that. What is your character’s favorite tool? (Sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): A hoe. Obviously, as a farmer, he needs to always have one so he can actually plant crops. A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: http://www.planetmin...peasant-435270/ Other Information about your Character: Iskast has no battle training, from an academy or self-taught, so he will be very clumsy in battle. he is also very generous with his more than limited funds. He also hates bandits, and loves to see them beat and hates to see them live. Open-Response-Questions Each question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP. Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They seem to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? As im walking to the cloud temple I see a small halfling being harassed and possibly being stole by two armed warriors. Even though I am scarred by the bandit attack, I run up to them, and say "why are you harassing him?" they reply "He owes us money, and he refuses to pay. Why do you care?" I reply "How much does he owe you?" they reply "40 minas." I reply "I’ll give you 50 to pay off his debt." they look at one another and quietly converse with each-other. They turn and say "we decline your offer, you puny little weakling!" I reply "OK." and toss the halfling a small bag of money. The halfling quickly counts the money and tosses it to the warriors. Satisfied, they run off. The halfling says "thank you! How could I ever repay you?" I reply "don't. here, have some bread to ease your nerves." I hand him a loaf of bread and continue my journey. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He is offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? I reply, "Would you maybe have any use for these?" I ask and pull several loaves of bread out of my pack. He examines each one and reply's "Yes. I could buy these for one minas each." I reply "No. at least three each." the merchant says "lets meet in the middle. Two minas each." I accept his offer, and as he’s about to walk out of the market, notices a thief trying to steal a sharp dagger from a stall. I grab his arm and knock the blade out of his hand. The town guard quickly comes and arrests him. Even though he struggles, they manage to subdue him, and they take him away to jail. The owner of the stall thanks me greatly, and gives me the dagger as a reward. While wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I marvel at the vast amount of gold in the sword, knowing it must be worth hundreds of minas, more than enough to get him out of this poverty he's been stuck in for so long. Just as im about to walk out and sell it in the market, I wait and ask myself if it would be a good idea to take it, even if the hut looked like it was abandoned. Besides, there are many signs that it isn't, a big one being the massive lack of dust. I decide not to, and I leave everything in the chest. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled between the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I say "please...help me... I have not eaten in days...here. I’ll take as much food as this can buy.” I say, and hand one of them ten minas. They hurry into a tent, and come back out with two cooked porkchops and a loave of bread. I eat them quickly, happy to have something to eat after all this time out here. I ask them which direction the holy Oren empire is. they direct me towards it, and I leave hoping not to get attacked by bandits on my way there. You hear word that bandit occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard has gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I tell him "I have no way to help you but to give simply you a few loaves of bread for when you get back. I do not want a reward though; I only want to help eliminate them. Here take these few loaves of bread, im sure it will help when you return to your homes." the leader thanks me, and i watch as they head out. Once they return victorious, I ask them of the battle. He says "It was a tough battle, and many of us were wounded greatly, a few even being killed. But we managed to drive them out and destroy the camp. Here, I insist you take these minas for help us." he says, and hands me 20 minas. I thank him, and go on my way. Anything else you would like to say? I hope im accepted, this server looks awesome
