Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Well, I clearly have some misspells, typos, but I will NEVER try to misspell or have typos on Minecraft.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I’m honest, nice and fun. I like Pokèmon, Dragons, Warrior Cats and books. (No wonder!)

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I’ll be on every time I can be on! Never ever ever on Sundays.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: It means to me making a story with another person. It’s like playing with a friend, only this is for ‘older’ people, and it’s usually on the computer.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Oh my... I HAVE TONS. I’ve role-played on Minecraft Servers to on the Warrior Cats RPG forums. I’ve role-played on an Ipod Touch app called Pets Live. (I don’t role-play on there anymore)

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming (verb): It’s where your role-player knows something is going to happen and stops it because the other player says he/she’s going to do it. Example story: Me: Mewtwo uses sneak attack!

What do you expect this server will be like?: I think it will be full of role-play, action and mostly fun in medieval times that’s going to be like books/tales/realistic.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: join.icepath.net, mylittleminecraft.net and pokemonserver.net. Pokèmon server was a fake role-play server. Ice-path wasn’t good. My Little Minecraft was getting boring. Also some of the servers swore/cussed.

How did you hear about us?: My brother was looking for servers for him and his friend to play on. He left this one on, so I looked at it.

Character Name: Arik

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Woodland Elf.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Arik was born into the Cloud Forest with his mother and father. They lived alone in the forest, sometimes visited by other elves. At age 13 Arik become friends with an dog he named Emerald. Age 29, though young he was, he journeyed farther into the forest. Age 30, he found his way near the border to Cloud Meadow. He then settled, with his dog. Nearby humans lived, full of hatred of elves. Finally, 3 years in his new home, the humans attacked and burned his shack, leaving him homeless. Anger for humans surged in him, though he knew that town was the problem, he left that place, towards more into his homeland.

Some years later, he settled back in the woodland of Cloud Forest, where no humans lived. He grew more shy to many different kinds of beings. 39 year old Arik also grew tired of being alone with no elf. 6 months of his 39 years passes as then he left his home to find his parents. Now 43, Arik found the home where his parents lived in, deserted. They left. Now, Arik is by himself, traveling through woodland with Emerald the dog, looking for a home.

What are your Character's ambitions?: To survive and find a home.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Bow.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Making a tree into a house/shelter.

Other Information about your Character: He hates the men with hate for elves.

Open-Response-Questions

Each and every question must be answered with a minimum of a single full paragraph and entirely in RP.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Arik sees the halfing. He draws his bow and arrow and gives an warning shot. Emerald barks. The robbers look ready to attack him. He shoots one’s arm. The second one comes charging at him. He has no choice but to kill the human. He shoots the thug in the ribs. Afterwards he looks at the poor halfling whom thanks him with a coin. Shaking his head, Arik gives back the coin.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Arik is annoyed by the merchant That’s the tenth one! He thinks. He looked at the chattering merchant and replies ‘I don’t want anything you have. Unless, of course, you have sixty-four bushels of wheat.’

The merchant frowns. ‘I...don’t sell ‘em wheat!’

‘Of course you don’t’, Arik mutters, ‘I’ll be on my way, now’.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Arik looks in the hut. No one. Arik closes the chest, for it’s not right to steal, even if their an human. Arik walks away, leaving an note for the man to lock his chest.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? ‘ Do you sell bread?’, he asks.

‘Yeah, we do! But, ‘course we need somthin’ in return!’

Reaching out for his lapis, Arik hands the trader it.

‘Will this do?’

‘Ah, yes, yes it would!’, the trader says happily. Eating the bread he bought, Arik puts away the rest of the loaves for when he’s hungry.

‘Thank you.’ Arik says.

‘Ah, no! Thank you!’ The trader replies with a grin.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: ‘I’ll help, if I see them on my way to the woodlands’, Arik replies to the guard. Arik walks out. Suddenly, the bandits come out of the bushes! Arik gets sliced on the ribs. Yelling, Arik reachs his bow. Trying to protect himself, he shoots at them, missing the first thug, and getting a cut on his arm, he slays one bandit. Blood surged. His dog howled. Even Emerald, Arik’s dog, got hurt. Slaying the third with fist and the point of the an arrow, Arik runs to a tree. He climbs the tree. The bandits found his bag. ‘No! I forgot my bag!’ he thought to hmself. He jumps on the second-to-last thief and chokes him, for he had his bag. ‘Run’, he growls to the last one, ‘I don’t want to kill you too!’ The bandits runs away, just in time for the guard to walk up. But Arik also fled, for he wanted to reward.

Anything else you would like to say?: I got a new account ‘cause I don’t know my password or account. Hope you had fun with this application. I love story making.

I don't think this really captures what Role Playing on Lord of the Craft is... Think more about Minecraft Role Play. Imagine what LoTC is like.

You need to elaborate on this a bit more... I think you are missing one key aspect of Meta-Gaming. Try reading up on it a bit more.

Power-Emoting (verb): You do something so unfair/unrealistic to the role-play. Example role-play: Me: The knight chases you!

Great job with this definition. You did a good job of portraying what Power Emoting is in a real scenario.

A good job with your biography. You did a good job of implementing a bit of server lore into it, as well as including some information on personality and traits. However, you have to keep in mind that 43 is a very young age for an elf. Elves generally do not mature until around 100 years of age in our lore. Just an FYI.

For your first ORQ, you need to give a bit more reasoning for why your character wanted to help the halfling. Did he have a childhood friend who was a halfling? Does he just like helping people? You need to elaborate a bit on that.

Apart from that, your ORQs are pretty solid. They contain solid RP, and are the perfect length. [Around a Paragraph]

One last thing: Be sure to include a screenshot of your skin in your application.
