In-Character Details

Character Name: Jaime Thyme

Character Race: Human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Born in the capital city of the Oren Empire, Jaime grew up hard. Jaime's Father was one of the Citie's premiere bakers, but he was not the best father. When he wasn't baking, he drank constantly and beat Jaime and his Mother. Because of this, he did his best to be out of the house at all times. Sometimes he even went so far as to cause a little bit of a havoc so that he would be forced to spend the night in the City jail rather than having to go home and face the drunken wrath of his father. When he turned eighteen, Jaime grabbed the first caravan down to Hanseti and set off on his own.

Jaime has short blond hair that is flecked with fleck with little bits of gray that that reveals the onset of middle age. His cheeks and chin are decorated with a little bit of 5 o' clock shadow. He is rather short and is thin of frame- A product of his constant travels. His chest and arms displays a number milky white scars that he obtained from his fifteen odd years of wandering, fighting and mining for the highest bidder. He is slightly pale and prefers to wear cloth trousers with a chainmail tunic. Atop his head sits a weathered leather helmet that has a pair of goggles attached to it. He carries an old iron sword with a hawk head hilt at his side and his hand never strays from it. Jaime is not a Fighter. He prefers mining over anything, but he will fight when necessary or the pay's right. He has a quick tongue and is light on his feet, which allows him to weasel his way out of some situations.

What are your characters ambitions?: A higher status than a Sellsword. Preferablly with loadsa' wealth.

Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: http://4stor.com/8tLb

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Jaime was honestly difficult for me to create and put down in words. Also, I don't have an exact birthdate for him if that's okay.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

I would call out to the Dwarf and ask him what wares he sold. If it were anything I was in need of, I would stop and look at what he was selling. As I browsed through what he had, I would try and haggle with the poor dwarf into giving me better price. I'd ask him where he gets his goods, and his supplies before settling on the inflated price that the dwarf initially asked for. just so that the Dwarf would be pleased and he would be left with a little extra money. Not everyone needs to be down on their luck if others can help it.

You’re in the Cloud Sanctuary late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. The only present monk is fast asleep, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

I would probably just stand and watch from the shadows. Chances are, one of them is going to end up dead no matter what I do. I mean, who would want to step in between an angry Orc and his chosen target anyways? As much as I'd like to stay around and pilfer from whichever person fell, I would most likely leave and not come back. The Dwarf and the Orc are likely to cause a bit of damage and a thing like that would bring the Sanctuary guards running. I don't want a tussle with any guards, or to end up having one of them recognise me later on if I'm doing a job that gets me in trouble with the law.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

Crouching down next to the man, I would gather up his coins. If I were running low on money of my own, I would pocket one or two and hand the rest back to the old man, then I would stand and dust myself off with one hand. Afterwards, I would tell the man to stay there and momentarily step off the road to find a tree branch that might help him. After selecting a suitable one, I'd trace my footsteps and find the old man again. Next, I would stand him up, give him the walking stick and then I would be on my merry way.
