For example, say Dave beat Joe within half an inch of his life but spared him and roleplayed in chat tying Joe up. Poweremoting would be along the lines of, "Joe pulls out a shotgun and breaks his bonds, instantly braining Dave with three ounces of buckshot." That wouldn't be nice now, would it? In-Character Details Character Name: Redhelwar Character Race: Human Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Redhelwar is a 17 year old human with brown hair and a simple appearance that hails from an average family of peasant farmers in a small village called Armethalieh outside of Mireton. He has two brothers and a sister, and a dog named Kellen. Armethalieh's main export is root flax and Redhelwar's parents would like him and his siblings to all be simple flax farmers. He is generally okay with this. A Well built sixteen year old, he is materialistic to say the least - only believing in what he can touch or physically perceive. He does not believe in any Gods worshipped by Mireton nearby and Oren Empire in general for this reason, and no religion in general can satisfy his need to understand the physical aspect of all things. Him and his family get along well not knowing what goes on outside of their village and not really caring. Him and his brothers visit Mireton twice a month to sell their flax and pay their taxes, and they usually pick up some sort of odd or end with the extra money. Stuff like jewelry, mirrors, decorative things. Redhelwar recently took an interest in construction, simple buildings like sheds and stables for his village and has improved it a lot. He is well liked around the village and he lives a happy life. He is aware of his parents' will for him to be a flax farmer, but his dream is to be a designer and builder for Mireton. He stores blueprints of his designs in his room, hoping one day for them to be implemented into the glorious city. Other than that, he wakes up at sun up, works most of the day until noon, then relaxes and plays rugby with his friends for the rest of the day. What are your characters ambitions?: Short term - Farm flax. Long term - Construction designer or engineer for Mireton, the nearby city. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: //I'm looking through all these applications and constantly seeing stuff like, "Both my parents were killed and I was given a vision from the sky-man telling me to go find the Elusive Northern European Heart of Tarrasque that nobody has found for a thousand centuries and i'm the chosen one etc etc etc." I don't know about anyone else, but having your parents dead doesn't make your person look cooler, in my opinion it just makes you look more like batman everyone else. Not unique at all. I think the average application to anything involving roleplay should be simple and short. Off topic time - That was exactly what happened when I played on Echeloned-Private WoW server and it seemed like every scene I participated in everyone would want to be that orphaned demon from hell with 50 flaming swords and a thirst for human blood, and it would just end up being an aids-fest of 10 year old "demons" using spells at eachother and screaming. I've heard that this place is better. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I start a conversation with the guy and inquire about his city of origin. He says he is a wandering dwarf, and nobody will let him have a job. I think I could use another worker at our village, and I pay for both of our rides home. His name is Kardus, and he is 23. Once we get home, I introduce him to the family and let him stay with us for a month and work at the local cooper. Once he gathers enough money for supplies, I gather my brothers and we build a simple house for him. He is very grateful for me helping him along with all this, and starts a smithing business of his own. He sends us new tools whenever we need them. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?I sneak into the ditch on the side of the road and sneak past them. I don't need any trouble, as I am carrying some valuables my family needs and that Orc looks strong. I see a constable patrolling farther up and tell him about the predicament. He ventures back to investigate with his mace drawn. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I calmly walk over to him and help him up, sneaking a couple Minas into my pocket as I do. The man does not notice. "Thank ye lad, I would wish the world had a lot more people like you" He says with a frail voice. "No problem" I reply. I check the nearby forest for a walking stick, but find nothing. The old man sees what I am trying to do and calls me off. "It's okay lad, my stop is just a bit up there." He tries to offer me some Minas on my way out but I decline, not wanting to take advantage of him twice. We say goodbyes and walk off.
