A poster is pinned to a tree on the island where we originally landed. If you read it, it says:

Yar! I be buyin' dey ore called 'redstone'. It's a redish powdery material and I'm buyin' it fer three mina each! Post a note under dis one 'nd I'll buy it frum ye!
