Definitions

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Role playing is making a second life for yourself where you can make different decisions than you would or might have made in real life, and seeing how they play out and unfold in real time.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is when your character knows more about a certainly subject than their past suggests. (usually a problem when learning something in-game when you're already learned it in real time).

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is guessing how someone will act, and continuing on without letting them explain or chose how they react to the situation. (EX. ME:"Can I cut you in line, Ari?" *cuts in line* ME:"Thanks!" ~ Ari had no time to react).

In-Character Details

Character Name: Arial Meadowbloom

Character Race: Elf

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Arial (Silver Harmony) Meadowbloom grew up as a High Class Elf. She has it all; Arial is 6'8", has unnaturally beautiful blue hair, ears that jut out of her hair at just the right angles, and piercing blue eyes. She has great parents that support her and help her whenever they can, a luxurious home, and all of the things she desires. Arial's lived most of her days co-running an herbal shop with her mother, while her father served in the sentinels of Malinor. As she lived her days in the shop, Arial constantly looked out of the window and wondered what was out there, on the horizon. She wanted to know more than just Nature's Poem, of which she memorized from a copy she got from a friend. The giving of life, of beauty, of peace

be matched only by the giving of the gift itself; As we are formed and reformed, the world requires those that do unto Nature.

Arial thought of a world beyond her windowsill, beyond the herbal essences she smelled everyday- beyond the world that she has lived in since she was young.Ever since she was small, her mother told her of the royalty that lived in the lands. Arial's father told her of the beauty of Malinor; he spoke of beautiful lands that incorporate forest into elf's lifestyles like never before. Her mother, on the other hand, told her about the dwarfs and their addiction from everything war to all kinds of food. From that day fourth, Arial never put up a fight. She never called anyone names, felt hatred or anything of the kind; her new state of mind was that an problem can be solved through calm a calm conversation; but, if a loved one had to head out into war, she understood the conscienceless. To earn Arial's trust was to earn the world. Though, the stories that she never really did believe were about danger and nefarious creatures outside the bounds of Arial's knowledge. Arial still desired to explore the world- to go above and beyond her everyday life.

As Arial was walking the streets to try and get a better look at the unknown one cold afternoon, she was knocked over by a High Elf shrouded in a leather hood. As the elf helped her gain her foothold, he unmasked himself unintentionally. The elf who stood before her was a tall, platinum-haired trainee. Speaking of forgiveness about pushing her over, the elf, by the name of Kael’Thes Goldenheart, interested Arial. As they spoke, each saw a glimmer of something that neither had seen ever before. Something outside of Arial's knowledge- something beyond what she had ever felt before. Abruptly, the elf was off. He did not even ask for her name. He soon broke into a burst of speed down the road, never uttering another word. Arial walked away with bruised leg, back to her family shop, wishing to meet the mysterious elf for second time- wishing to know what was behind those unforgettable eyes. She thought of the day a bit here and a bit there, but until 10 years later, it had no relevance.

It was the promised time. The monks had promised salvation in Asulon. As Arial boarded the boat, she caught glimpses of a familiar hood... A familiar posture... A familiar voice... It was him, Kael’Thes Goldenheart. The time for a more appropriate introduction was now. As they spoke for the first time in years, Arial saw that he still had the gleam in his eye when he looked at her- but he never had that sort of glance when looking at anyone else.

Over the weeks on the ships, the two grew to be the strongest friends. They were selfless to each other; they shared everything from their deepest secrets to the allotted food that they were given on the boat(which was never enough). They never left one another’s side when the other was sick.

Suddenly, the unthinkable happened. A loud crash, and wood was torn everywhere- the boat was shredded to pieces. As the ships crashed into a cluster of islands, Arial and Kael were separated. A beam of wood fell, hit Arial in her head, and instantly wiped her memories of the past years- of everything from how to count all the way to Kael. Arial now recovers from her amnesia, and as she begins to remember her past, she searches for the familiar face... the familiar hood... the familiar posture... and faint glimmer of what could be.

What are your characters ambitions?: To find and reconize Kael'Thes and to rebuild my old memory and see where we can build from there.

Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: http://www.minecraft...88109/elf-girl/

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Arial (if you couldn't tell from the paragraph) is a pure pacifist. She will do anything and everything to avoid conflict and war. But, she doesn't let her pacifist come in the way with her friends.

Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in role play. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

I do not have any prejudice against any race, so dwarves are no challenge. Knowing I have more money than I need, I walk over to the shopkeeper and ask what he has. Also, I am hoping by standing near the dwarf's cart will reel more people into his business. As he tells me about his wares, that are clearly hand-made, I see that they are't the worst quality, but I could find better elsewhere. Feeling kindness in my heart, I buy a basket of his finest bread, and head off on my way, willing to suggest the kind dwarf's home-cooked bread to anyone who asked.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

Seeing the clear violence, I turn off to the side of the road. Walking briskly past, I trip and fall on the road, spilling everything I had all over the ground. Being my clumsy self, I stumble and fumble around to find all of my items, and stand up. Straightening my clothing, I try to walk past again without being noticed. Taking no chances, I jog up the street, I break out into a sprint, and head to make the final length home. Luckily, neither sides of the soon-to-be-ugly fight followed me, and I hope they can just make a compromise

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?:

First, I would ask the poor man if he needs help. Knowing the answer, I help him up with all the might I have(which isn't much when it comes to strength). Walking awkwardly with an old man on my shoulder, I take him to the nearest bench, and quickly hurry back to the coins strewn across the floor. Emptying a small bag I had into another, I filled my small bag with his Minas and cross back over to the old man. I give him my bag filled with his Minas(every single one was picked up), and offer him my walking stick. After unceremoniously letting him have my walking stick, I carry on my way, with just one of my hundreds of good deeds done for the day.
