In-Character Details

Character Name: Erenk Shoreworth

Character Race: human

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Erenk was brought up in a wealthy family and was always a charming young boy. He was always obedient and respectful but one thing out shined his spirit, and that was GREED. Erenk was never pleased with the amount of income his father would make so he started selling off everything they owned. He ended up being thrown out and told to work for himself.

The beginning of his years of his new life were shaky and unstable but after learning the trade of being a merchant his hoard of minas began to grow. Erenk began to become over confident and lessened the guards surrounding his treasure but was soon brought to his knees by an unholy sight. All of his precious years of work were thrown in the trash because his whole heard was stolen by a group of marauding bandits. He began to see what it was like not to have money or fame and felt ashamed of what he had done to poorer people than him in the past. So he quickly reshaped his heart and started giving to all his wages to everyone he had forsaken in the past.

What are your characters ambitions?: to pay back all the people he had rejected.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I walked past the dwarf without paying heed but stopped In my tracks only to remember his face in the back of my memory. He had been one of the many men I had cheated out of there money. I quickly stumble head over heels until I get back to his stand. I plop down right in front of him and beg for mercy. The dwarf looked puzzled at why a man was cowering in front of him with a hand full of Minas outstretched. I Sensed his hesitation and told him the story of my life and what I had did to him and many others. Accepting the Minas with a smile on his face he told me my debt had been repaid and he would no longer keep me up at night. With a laugh at this remark I started on my way.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I look at the men both I had never seen before but still feel bad for the defenseless dwarf so with my cunning thinking I throw a sack of Minas at the Orc. The Orc turned around with a enraged look on his face looking for his attacker, looking for ME. I wasn’t good with weapons but luckily it didn’t come to blows. The Orc dropped the dwarf and looked at the sack with wonder “Where did it come from” I heard him say to himself. I quickly ran into the dense foliage hoping the dwarf had had enough time to get away.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick, looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless man. What does your character do?: I look at the Minas and begin to pick them up but instead lash out at myself. What was I thinking I was not the man I used to be? I quickly helped the man up and collected his currency for him. I started to leave when I remembered his stick had broken to so I ran back to the man and helped him hobble himself to the nearest city. As I started on my way I felt warmth spread in my body. What could this sensation be I asked my self? I told my self what ever this is I will keep it coming for is long as I live.
