History

Shadeleaves are mostly naturalists, hunters, herbalists and foresters, this making them the dark elves who are the most in touch with nature

Cithrania and Daeven were two the six first Mali'ker siblings.They birthed numerous children. However, only six of the children kept the line going pure. these were : Sidhil and Calithildir, Malunis and Adasser, Lithuinis and Golion. Malunis and Lithuinis were twin sisters. The other children either went and mated with the houses or didn't mate at all.

Eventually the linage occured until there was Calenthiriel, Herion, Saleia, and Sathoro. Each of them was part of the three different Shadeleaf lines.

However Calenthiriel and Herion discovered eachother and mated to create Grey. Unfortunately, Calenthiriel and Herion died tragically, leaving their son Grey by himself, with no other family as clue, to survive on his own, he had to.

Now during this time, Golion and Lithuinis line had left society and went to live in the woods. There they birthed Sarnion. Their son Sarnion became bored in the woods and eventually left his parent's cottage to go explore the wilds. During his adventures, he eventually came ot a point of starving and numerous injuries. Luckily, a Mali'ker Maiden was in the woods, searching for Shade Leaf (One of those drug herbs that makes you extremely high). Coincidentially, she found Sarnion and took him to her home and healed him. However, when it was time to leave, Sarnion couldn't leave and wooed the maiden, Faervel into marrying him. They both married and eventually left to go live at Sarnion's parent's home. Unfortunately, Golion and Lithuinis had died by the time Sarnion returned.

Sarnion and Faervel lived in the home and eventually mated. They then bore Sathoro, and a couple of decades later, Saleia. Two hundred years later, the undead came and destroyed Aegis. During that time, Sarnion and Faervel died. Upon arriving in Asulon, they lived in the woods again.

Grey, Saleia and Sathoro, are the only ones untill the day of today to know that they are pure.

Traditions/habitats

Armor.

Common armor is leather with chain armor under it, or leather reinforcements that can be strapped to their attire, mostly reinforced or studded leather, with leaf disigns painted on it. Helmets of chain and studded leather, with leaf designs painted on it, Steel and silver daggers with intricate design of leaves, and longbows with carvings and designs of vines around it.

Tattoos

Shadeleaves have a small tattoo of the Shadeleaf crest somewhere on their body, most of them have their ears pierced, because they wear earrings. Tattoos mean that you are well respected, brave and wise under the shadeleaves (only for males) Tattoos also mark certain events in a Shadeleaf's life that he wants captured in a tattoo, this may be grief, sorrow, pain, but also happiness, prideness and personal achievements.

Shadeleaf fashion((what they wear in general, as shadeleaf you can wear anything really))

Shadeleaves wear mostly clothes in orange, green and blue, this varies from coats to skirts robes to tops any clothing possible to metion really but mostly these, but they do spend quite some time on fashion, mostly they'll show quite alot of their body to others, and make their clothes fit nice and well, so they can travel quickly when needed or when occasionally hunting for food, mostly going paired with serveral pounches and a big belt to put alot of collected things in they found and to quickly go after their prey, they also fancy dyed leather with accents of silverish and orangish colors, and wear silver jewels like silver rings and necklaces, sometimes with emeralds in it.

Well this thing was already done before you posted, and the Shadeleaves tattoos were before the oussana ones, and oussanas are technicly shadeleaves too, if you have read their post good enough :P

Buuut if you don't want to live in trees, then maybe you can make your homes to look like one. Having tree bark as walls and leaves as a roof. And maaaaybe you could add some sort of leadership roles or something! :D Just a thought~ ))

I think because mostdark elves live underground, we could make this idea happen, a decently big house carved in a tree with probably an alchemy farm in the basement, yes I think this could work, and for the hardcore darkies who only live in caves we could disign caves with trees, vines and alchemy plants in and around it. :D

(( I agree here. Each family should have a unique build style. I tried to make a very unique one with the overgrown, gloomy feel for us Nighthearts, so if we each have a different style of how we build our houses and such, I think it'll enhance the RP even more. ))

They never build homes out of logs and trees, except sticks to use lean-tos. They usually make wool tents, using the sheep pelts they craft themselves. Panda is sorry for being picky, but it bugs her that you give yourself that title with out thinking of the other dark elves. The Kameki are not extinct yet.))
