Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing: Role-playing is when you step into the shoes of another person, other than yourself. You control them, yet are not yourself while doing so. The character you are playing as can be anything, anyone you wish them to be.
Meta-gaming: I use real-life experiences in-game, to aid me in my choices and actions.
Power-emoting: Power-emoting is where you use fair and equal play, without making yourself to over-powered, or under-powered. If I were to say "I ran at the tree and grabbed onto the 5th branch" I would be over-powering myself. I would use this as correct usage: "I ran at the tree, and struggled to climb the lower branch. Quite surprisingly, I made it."

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Elsil'chirr (Wolf of the Sword)
Current Age: 113 years of age
Sub-race (if any):
Mali’ker (Dark Elf)
Past /
History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Elsil'chirr was a very mischievous child. He had no siblings, so he'd run around with the other elvish children, climbing trees, digging up dirt and wandering around during the night. He wasn't the bravest, nor the strongest, but he was full of adventure. He wouldn't do anything he deemed as dangerous, and was very cautious. His parents tried their best to strengthen their child, but it never worked.

Elsil'chirr's father was an Assassin, and wasn't often at home. It was strange, because the Elves had never really been fighters. His father just wanted justice. Elsil'chirr's mother found it hard to bring him up, because he didn't have his father there with him.

Elsil'chirr's father went out on a contract one night, and said he'd be back a week later. He never returned. Elsil'chirr believes his father was kidnapped. The people he killed weren't killers of the sort, but slavers.

Ever since then, Elsil'chirr has been acting differently, and is hoping that one day he can find out what really happened to his father. He stays with his mother, hoping to keep her hopes high. But she is growing old now, and may not be able to stand the stress much longer.

Ambitions for the Future: Elsil'chirr's ambitions for the future are simple - To find out what happened to his father.

Personality: Elsil'chirr is a kind-hearted individual, who dislikes to fight. He will always try to talk things over, but will get physical if the one he is speaking to swings first. Even so, he will not try to harm his attacker, just stop them.

Skills: Elsil'chirr is a skilled master with the Sword, and is not too bad a shot with the Bow, although it is not his prefered weapon. He is light-footed, and very stealthy when he wants to be. As well as these skills, all that time digging in the dirt has payed off. Elsil'chirr is very good a herbalism, and helps his mother create medicines for those young elves that fall sick.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer: I walk towards the High Elves and explain to them how childish their behavouir is. They tell them to leave the child alone, yet they don't. I tell the Wood Elf child to lead me back to his house so I can explain to his parents what has happened.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: I rush over to the man, and ask if he is alright. He let's out a groan, and so I think for a second. I lean over him, and explain to him that my mother is an Alchemist. I gather up his coins, slip them in my pocket, then sling the man over my shoulder. I carry him all the way back to my mothers house, while helping him with his pain - I give him certain herbs I have gathered to lessen the pain.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer:
"I would like to purchase a pouch of feathers," I reply. "For a reasonable price of course."

The trader exclaims "Of course, of course! What price are you willing to buy these feathers for?"

"It depends - How many are there per pouch?" I ask.

He replies "Two-dozen, but you can purchase extra pouches if you wish!"

"I will pay 8 coins for a pouch. Feathers must be farely plentiful for you if you wish to sell so many."

"How about 10 coins?" he asks.

"I will only pay 8. You need no more."

"8 it is, sir," he says, giving in. He hands me one pouch of feathers, as I place in his hand 8 coins.

"Thank you. I will be on my way now," I say, as I turn and begin heading home.

Sorry to deny this application, but there are a few things that need to be fixed.

- Your metagaming and powergaming definitions could use some work. Use this guide ( http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/45364-roleplayingmetagamingpowergaming-definitions/ ) to help you, but remember not to plagiarize!

- Your biography failed to include any server lore. Here is the Elf lore, use it to your advantage! http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=Elves remember to use town names, maybe famous people, etc.

- Your character showed signs of powergaming - you mentioned that he was a master swordsman. Instead of making him a master swordsman from the get-go, why not roleplay him getting better once you are accepted?

- Your first and second Open Response Questions could use expanding. Make them at least two paragraphs each, and add details!

If you have any questions, feel free to private message me. Do not re-apply for 24 hours after THIS post, or you will automatically be denied.
