History

Mortimer grew up with his family outside Leumalin, spending his long dwarven childhood hunting for shiny things in and out of the city. He played with his brother and some of the few elven children, pretending they were sky pirates, finding gold and jewels among the clouds. It was always Mortimer's dream to find riches. Being a forest dwarf didn't make him exempt from the curse, after all. He had a particularly bland childhood, otherwise. Once he was older, he set out on his own, to search for treasure. He fathered a son, which he left with his brother, who actually wanted a child. Mortimer couldn't have anyone holding him back from the riches he could find. His dream to find the riches of Anthos engulfed his life, restricting him from friends and family. Until he found Alfie. Alfie Cotere is a treasure hunter as well, and the two have begun to search for treasure together. Mortimer see's Alfie as the only company he can have, that won't hold him back.
