Dietrich briefly casts a glance around the city before being approached by the well dressed merchant. Studying his appearance, Dietrich makes note of the jewelry and precious stones adorned on the man’s fingers. With a friendly tone, he replies, “Adventure I suppose. I imagine there’s plenty of that in store here.” The gentleman extends his hand and says, “Aye, you are correct about that. I am Arnulf, a merchant here. I do have an adventure for you, if you wish to hear me out..” he pauses, waiting for a response, “Dietrich, sir. Please, continue.” Extending his hand, Arnulf continues, “Well met, Dietrich. My caravan is to depart soon, and I could always use extra hands to help tend the mules, or scare bandits should they make their presence known.” Pausing for hardly a second, Dietrich laughs, shakes Arnulf’s hand heartily and replies, “Yes. Count me in, sir. It sounds like a grand adventure, when do we leave?”

“Well met, friend.” I say giving the man a nod and turning towards him so that I face him. I quickly study the man, noticing his wealthy attire, and several signet rings as well as his jovial disposition. “I am here to adventure, to answer your question. I’ve longed to pursue such a path since I was child in Raevir.” I continue. After heartily chuckling, the man replies “Well then lad, I think I’ve got a job for you!” he replies, motioning for me to follow him. “Lead on.” I reply and begin following the man into the bazaar, taking in the vivid scenery.
