History
The Berilior talonnii, as most recorded bloodlines do, has a pure bloodline that dates back to the times of old when the first baths were had. Fragments of recorded family history speak of some members even standing among the ailer in the prime years of this lineage, though as time moved on and events unfolded, catastrophes or otherwise, such notable feats became less frequent among the Beriliors. Even still, the archives hold enough proof to label this respectable line as avid scholars and poets that love to masterfully use the ancient tongue. In modern times, those that set foot upon Almaris when the Mali'aheral made landfall continue to prove this to be true, always striving to contribute to the Silver State.

Physical Traits
The physical traits of the Berilior bloodline are notable for their monochromatic tendencies, a Berilior has never been seen to have an eye color that does not match their hair. With that in mind, one can attempt to identify a Berilior by noting whether they have hair and eyes of golden to silver coloration, with shades between these two spectrums the only variation they display. Berilior are often tall and lean, with females tending to be slightly shorter than the males.

Personality and Beliefs
The Berilior family consists of 'thill that hold fast to the beliefs of purity and they build their ambition upon the foundation of maehr'sae hiylun'ehya, believing that all true 'thill should weigh their actions and desires with it in mind. An inclination towards intellectual and even arcane pursuits, it is not uncommon for Berilior to delve into esoteric ruins or bring forth new understanding of current translations and texts, striving to raise the ceiling of progress higher for themselves and their fellow 'thill. Most members of this talonnii are polite and calculated in public, with rumors that suggest when one earns the trust of a Berilior, they make some of the most trustworthy and enjoyable company of any 'thill. The talonnii has always backed the Diarchy.

Etymology
The origins and meaning of the Berilior name is largely unknown, considered likely to be lost through time. With the current knowledge had of the language, it is thought to be derived from a lost conjuction of older variants of the words 'vira' and 'llir', however this is not concrete, and speculation continues as the efforts of scholars bring more of the ancient tongue to light.
