A Visitor A while after the last Lord of Bjornfjall, a man reaches Bjornfjall. Standing tall and bearing an interesting color of ginger-brown hair, enters through the gates of the Mountain-Top Lordship. This man is the sole heir of the Sigvardson family. After the death or deserting of family members, this man makes an entrance. The cold air does not affect him, as built strong for this weather. The man’s name is Sigmundson Sigvardson II, the primary cousin of the one and only Lord Ragnar “The Bear” Sigvardson. As he enters, he sees his cousins’ statue, standing taller than anything in his eyes. This man has done what I couldn’t. says Sigmundson, going round the statue. He knew that beneath it shall lie the urn of his ashes. So he goes down the ladder, where lies his tomb. A man I knew, a man I loved, but a man who was left by almost every one of his kin, left for the cold winds of the mountain. I’m sorry, cousin, I don’t think I can avenge you for your loss. Sigmundson lays a palm on the cold tomb of his cousin. I’ll try, cousin, but I’m not sure I can. May you rest in peace, cousin. Iron from Ice. Sigmundson takes his hand off the tomb of his cousin and goes up the ladder. He then takes one more look at what Ragnar has built for all his kin. A tear went down Sigmundson’s cheek as he silently left.

THE LAST FIGHT OF A BEAR The cold weather of the North hits Ragnar on the back. Riding Mother Lakia to Alisgrad for a meeting with an old friend. The snow covers the road and a sudden snowstorm hits the Norlandic roads. In the night, the old Sigvardson could barely see a thing. As sudden as the snowstorm, a dark figure starts to be made out, coming from the edge of the road. “Stop right there, Sigvardson imbecile!” screams the figure. “You don’t tell me what to do.” responds Ragnar calmly. “If I don’t tell you what to do, my sword will!” says the figure as it takes a longsword out of its hilt. Ragnar takes out his long beloved Blue Rose Longsowrd. He steps down from Mother Lakia and approaches the dark figure. It was dressed all black, wearing a hood on its face, so Ragnar couldn’t make out who it was. “Well, it seems like you have a problem with me. Before you strike, may I know the reason why you’re attacking an old man?” asks Ragnar, curiously. “You shan’t know, only that you haven’t done a great service to my family!” screams the hooded figure. “Can you not scream? I’m right here.” Then, the figure strikes. Ragnar swiftly dodges the sword and manages to scratch the figure. It screams again and aggressively attacks the old man. They exchanged hits for a while, until the hooded figure badly cuts into Ragnar’s foot and Ragnar falls hopeless on the ground. “This will end my family’s suffering!” the hooded figure says, as it aims the sword to Ragnar’s heart. “One mistake and only one you made. A bear never dies until its prey does first!” Then he takes the Blue Rose Longsword and stabs the hooded figure in its heart. As it falls, with its last powers, the hooded figure aims the sword towards Ragnar’s heart and fatally injures him. This was one hell of a good life. Thinks Ragnar, as he slowly fades away, lights no longer on. His body was soon found, in the piled up snow, close to Bjornfjall. CLAN SIGVARDSON A Clan, far up North, living in the mountains of the Kingdom of Norland. The clan is called Clan Sigvardson. It all started with founder Ragnar Sigvardson I, who worked hard for years in the Ashguard and went from nation to nation to sell his stock. His people stayed close and loyal to Norland, either staying true to the Ashguard or selling diverse Norlandic made stock. Everything went well, soon Ragnar got through his service within the Ashguard a vassal fief, on the mountain top, Bjronfjall (here some images). Ragnar was also made Marshal of the Royal Norlandic Ashguard, and, at the moment being, he still serves in the Ashguard. Recently, though, members of Clan Sigvardson have been disappearing, mysteriously! Maybe you’d want to help Ragnar out in his journey, or come to Bjronfjall and get yourself a peaceful place to stay in! A tear would go down Ragnar’s cheek upon receiving the missive. “It’s been an honor serving you, as my Marshal and as my King.” Would then say Ragnar to an empty room in his secluded tower.

Ragnar would look upon missive, sighing deeply. He would put the palm of his right hand on his forehead and look into the darkness of his palm. The job drove him crazy.

Ragnar would smile a bit upon reading the letter, chuckling ironically. “It’s interesting that war is what they want, but they won’t declare it. Why put up war when you clearly don’t have funds for such a thing. Just a conglomerate of scaredy-cats, I would say.” would say Ragnar to an empty room in his tower.

A New Overseer’s In Town As of recent events, the rank of Overseer remains vacant. By the command of Marshal of the Royal Norlandic Ashguard, Ragnar Sigvardson I, Warden Ciaran Vildr shall be promoted to the officer rank of Overseer. With your advancement, you shall take more responsibility within the Ashguard.You will be responsible with recruiting, supplying and the organization and overseeing of a Vassals’ Ashguard Garrisons’ Commanding Warden. You are now officially an Executive Officer within the Ashguard. This also elevates you as a member of the High Command. Ragnar would stare at the coat of arms of the Sigvardsons for a second. He would think about what he shall do next. Then he took another unopened letter, clearly unnerved of the recent happenings.

The Marshal would look upon the missive, while drinking some wine in his tower. ‘Ragnar’s Punishment’ as he named it, seemed a bit too, so to say, extreme for other people. He would leave it on his desk, among other letters he recently received.

Ragnar Sigvardson smiles upon looking at the feudal contract, happy for his achievement. “It has been done.” says happily the Lord.

A new vassal appears in the Kingdom of Norland, on the 4th of Sun's Smile, SA 74, constructed by the Norlandic Clan, Clan Sigvardson. The land was given to be built on, so the Sigvardsons did. The vassal's name is Bjornfjall. Founder Ragnar Sigvardson I built Bjornfjall for his Clan and for anyone else who would like to live here. Everyone is welcomed to this land, and can rent a house! The Sigvardsons (royally recognized Norlandic clan) were granted the land on the mountain top of Bjornfjall, for its work in the Ashguard. The Sigvardsons are a good Norlandic clan, had helped with serving time in the Ashguard, and are trading around Almaris (currently trying to start a chain of stores). The founder, Ragnar Sigvardson, served many years in the Northguard and Ashguard, and started selling fish, as a hobby. Now his goods are diverse and he worked his way to Warden. Ludvig Sigvardson is also a fierce fighter, but he is still young, and is serving in the Ashguard. The Sigvardsons are looking for more members!
